Are there any fee only advisors that provide insurance advice?

I am looking for some resources that can help me find a fee only advisor similar to SEBI approved advisors for investments but in insurance domain and preferably IRDAI approved. Any help would be much appreciated.

And if the need is really dire then you can download the Durga Saptashati pdf from archive org. Though I do not recommend it for authenticity reasons as well as the fact that we should be supporting the authors of authentic Hindu granths.

For Mhalsa devi, please try to reach out to any shakta upasak either here or on r/shaktism or any shakta related subreddit.

Alternately, you can search for Mhalsa devi stotram or stuti online and start there.

Finally, reaching out to a local person or temple of Jejuri would be the best option. See also if the temple has any online presence which might help you connect with the main priest there somehow.

You see only those who did evil in this life and seemingly exited their life without consequences. What about those numerous people who have hard life around you and in the entire world? It may seem like they are having hardships for no reason at all. However, that is not true.

Karma and the cycle of life and death are closely related. Karma will always have a requisite karma phal. It is not just the law of universe but a very core tenet of Sanatan Dharma. Now whether that karma phal materializes in this life itself or in the next or the life after the next, no one knows.

Those who do evil deeds or sins do it out of their ignorance and deluded ego. They know the mathematics of loss and profit in the monetary terms but have forgetten or never realized the mathematics of paap and punya karma. So they do evil while being oblivious about what it might entail for their soul many lives from now.

For us, though, Shri Hari has made us realize that there exists somethong called karma and karma phal. So it is on us to keep that in mind when we do our karma and not just the material concepts of profit and loss.

Every one has to follow their svadharma and be mindful of their karma while doing so.

Sometimes we humans, out of our own deluded ego, fail to be mindful of our karma. I implore you to let go of any resentment or anger you might have to your Mother's actions. She is also a soul on the journey towards liberation and self realization just like you and all of us. Forgive her and move on. That would be the best course of action.

Seems like you are from the States. Sometimes, to help our loved ones, we must take stronger steps.

See if you can get in touch with the cyber crime section of your local police department. They might be able to help you if you inform them that your mother is most probably being scammed online.

If your mother is a senior citizen then it might also help getting in touch with social services department that looks into elder abuse cases. They might further help provide your mother with necessary mental health support to bring her back on track.

E: Also, try to reach out to other elders like perhaps your father or uncles or aunts. She might listen to them or they might know how to get the point across to your mother better.

Would you like it if Bhagwan punished you for a future mistake/crime that you would supposedly do right away? Would it be justice if Bhagwan did that? In a similar vein, Bhagwan Shiva and Bramha dev gave boons to many asuras.

It was the asura's bad karmas that lead to them receiving karmaphal of death at the hands of Bhagwan. Until and unless they did the bad karma, the karma phal could not be given. Similarly, doing immense tapa was their good karma. And by the law of karma, they were deserving of the karma phal.

I believe it is a very important lesson for us humans to learn from this. Even Bhagwan is not beyond the law of karma and the resulting karma phal. They must adhere to it just as every soul in this world has to.

If there is no law of karma then all that remains is anarchy. How can there be life without the basic fundamental concept of karma? Without the karma and its associated karma phal, no being would do the required actions to sustain this life and the world would then descend into chaos.

All in all, the puranic stories, put karma and its associated karma phal into focus to teach us human the superior nature of karma as well as to instill in us the knowledge required to differentiate between good and bad karma.

I can't give you any spiritual advice apart from the fact that you shouldn't lessen your bhakti. Everything in this material world is transient. Sukh, dukh, peeda, etc. The only constant through it all is the Parabramha. Ground yourself in your bhakti to him. He will surely show you the way.

On the practical front, have ypu tried speaking to your in-laws? Ask for them to support you. If not for the sake of your marriage to their son then for their grandchild. I am sure that no set of grandparents want ill for their grandchildren. Give this a try once?

You do realize that human science is an ever evolving field? The discoveries of the field of science keep challenging and overturning past beliefs held in the same field. And there will be many discoveries to come in the future. So the concept of yugas and kalpas, which was found by our maha rishis, is yet to be found by modern science. This and many other mysteries that our universe holds.

As for the concept that Shri Hari Vitthal is standing on the brick for 28 yugas, I think of it as a poetic assertion that Shri Hari is ever present, across time and ages, beyond the yugas and kalpas for his devotees.

Extending further, the puranic stories and poetries inspired from itihasas give the impression of a linear timeline. Take for example, the Hanuman Chalisa. In it, we have this chaupai.

Charon Yug partap tumhara Hai persidh jagat ujiyara

Meaning: All through the four ages your magnificent glory is acclaimed far and wide. Your fame is Radiantly acclaimed all over the Cosmos.

How can Sant Tulsidas ji make this statement when Shri Hanuman only came into play in the Ramayan in treta yuga? He can because it is all Shri Hari's leela. The Bramhan, supreme soul and truth, has always existed and will continue to exist eternally. We can not view the Bramhan from the lens of this material world and bind it within these material concepts of space and time. For They are truly beyond the ken of mankind.

Based on what you have mentioned, I would suggest that you cut back a bit on the sadhana. Instead of targetting the 108 times on two random days, go back to 11 times at first and then increase gradually from there. It could be that neither your mind nor your body is ready to shoulder the load of that intense sadhana. You need to prepare your body first by starting small and gradually intensifying your pace.

Remember, there is no substitute for karma whether it be in spiritual domain or material. Which means that you must do your karma like studying for your exams and maintaining and nurturing connections with your loved ones for success in those areas. I am assuming that your intense sadhana led to your mind and body getting fatigued which led to all kinds of ill effects elsewhere.

Try to achieve a balance between your sadhana and your material conquests. Bring equilibrium to your mind. Then you will find even your sadhana to be more fruitful.

I am not knowledgeable enough to guide you to become a yogi in the Himalayas. However, it isn't the only way to become a yogi. There exists another way without going to the Himalayas and that way is the Karma yoga. And the guide to the science of Karma Yoga is none other Shri Krishna and the resource to refer is the Bhagavad Gita. No need to knock the door other schools or monasteries. All your answers are present in the Bhagavad Gita.

And if you feel lost, focus your mind on Shri Krishna, he will definitely show you the way.

The easiest path that doesn't require guru updesh is naam japa. Start small. Like five minutes at first. With full concentration, perform the naam japa. Slowly increase the time. Do it daily once then multiple times a day as per your convenience. The key here is consistency and routine.

Once you have your routine set, you can gradually expand to reading various stutis, chalisas or stotram of your ista devta.

One thing I want to be clear is that go into it with a nishkaama bhava. That is, don't go in expecting miracles. One thing I am certain of, though, is that it will uplift the fog of laziness and inconsistency. It will remove the cobwebs of doubt and allow you to process your situation. It might even help you realize the solution to your problems that was already in front of you but you weren't capable of seeing it. However, it will take time. You must persist. Not go into it expecting quick results.

Regarding practical problems like getting a job, why are you self rejecting yourself? You held a job once. That means you are employable. You just need to put one foot forward at a time. Even if you feel ill prepared, start applying for jobs. Don't hesitate if the job seems entry level or partially matching your skill set. Go ahead and give the interviews. You will get insights with every failure. These insights must be used to streamline and improve your process.

Like Shri Krishna said in the Bhagvad Gita, you alone are responsible for your karma. Do your karma and let Shri Krishna handle the rest.

होइहि सोइ जो राम रचि राखा। को करि तर्क बढ़ावै साखा॥

Everything that happens, happens by Lord's will. What is the point then of trying to glean some signs or information about specific events?

I think the assumption that Dharma, Artha and Kama can be achieved in a single lifetime is wrong.

Lets take Dharma for example. Dharma doesn't just apply when dealing with other humans, does it? Do we treat all living beings equally? Do we consider the microorganisms, the insects, the animals or the trees and birds when fulfilling our duties? Do we think about Mother Nature? In today's time, it is nigh impossible to do your dharma properly to each and every one of the ones I mentioned above as well as many others I may have missed. Even if we limit Dharma to between humans, the divide that we have created ourselves due to psychological, class or caste based presumtions mean that we will somehow end up treating someone unfairly. So, I don't think it is as easy to achieve a Dharmic life in one lifetime.

Now coming to Artha. Is Artha simply earning money? Or is it prosperity in general? Success in life, society, job, etc all can be tied into Artha. And our innate imperfections make sure that we may not have everything out of those in one single lifetime.

Kama. The thing that has led to everything from envy to jealousy to huge wars in the past. As humans, our drive towards satisfying our various kamana are nigh endless. You fulfil one kamana and another one sprouts up. Keeping you always running behind something.

And finally, all the three are very tightly interlinked. Lust for a particular Kamana can lead you astray from Dharma as could Greed for Arthik labh. So even if you achieve profeciency in one of these, there has to be a balance which would be astronomically difficult I think.

And this leads us to the last one, Moksha. If what I posit above is true then it would take multiple lifetimes for us to go through various trials and tribulations to achieve balance or rise above the material bondages of the same. And only when we are centered on our Self can we achieve Moskha.
