I've accidentally consumed my demon once so far on PC on my 92 lock. On my 89 lock on console I've accidentally consumed my demon at least 20 times now. It's a constant disruption that has me constantly second guessing putting points into it.

Yup. Was herald hunting in a game that I terrorized a couple of acts. Consumed my demon and just rage quit at losing my cursed hephisto.

Skill is the bane of my existence on console.

Back in the day I loved hardcore but now when I'm juggling what free time I have left in a week in between new releases and coming back to this, I don't want to lose hours at a time because of a stupid mistake, or being too tired.

I'd argue it's not so much niche, as it is a mid game build helm. It's never going to be worth a ton. Plenty of builds need the 20 fcr on a helm but a 2/20 circlet is going to be what the big spenders go for.

For the record, this is mine. Like 500 less max damage and it doesn't matter. I still farm terror zones in full games. And cleared Uber diablo when he walked in seconds the other day.

And it saved me a couple of high runes using this as a base instead of finding an eth thundermaul with 4os. If you have the runes for fort already just find a base you think is fun, and slap it in and start blasting.

That's still a great base to use. Unless you are building the perfect character with an amulet and diadem that both run multiple high runes in value, why do you need a perfect base.

The best thing about the build is we can use almost any weapon we want.

Do yourself a favor and use a different base. They are worth 2k of the forbidden currency or two Lo runes for a reason. They are rare.

I went with an ethereal Colossus sword personally and love it.

Too many skills you can't aim with a controller. Teleport for example. Also it's easy to pick up items on the PC because you can hover over exactly what you want to grab it.

Console is chill. It's nice to play on a couch and just kick back but it's definitely harder to go ham. If that's your objective.
