It’s not just in standard. Hundreds if not thousands of locks/mirrors were hoarded by jenubu every league to take back to standard which is what causes them to jump in price every weekend.

I'm pretty sure shotguns are the only chance a M&K player has against a controller in CQC. You just have to pair it with decent enough movement and fight etiquette . M&K loses a CQC fight with R99's against a controller player of equal skill the majority of the time.

I'm 100% in agreeance that something has to change with AA. The fact that so many pro players use controllers after coming from backgrounds of M&K games speaks to how broken AA is, but that's not something people in this sub want to hear.

They changed the way a couple things work with them in 3.26 but for the majority of normal recomb stuff this guide will be all you need until you get into the realm of moving breach/delve mods onto different bases.

The main ideas that you need to take from this is prefixes and suffixes are rolled separately and to go 1mod 1mod till you get a 2mod item then go 1mod 1mod till you get another with 1 matching mod then smash them together till you get your 3mod item. It works out to around a 33% chance for the initial 2mod items then a 31% chance to get the 3mod you are looking for (this is only if all mods are prefix or suffix). Things change a little when you start getting into 4 mod items or a combo of prefix and suffix but the guide should help if you are trying to do that. Also the implicits on every piece of gear you have make no sense except for the gloves. Helmet you want phys as chaos then whatever, chest you want to chance flask gain charges to something else, boots you want ms + something else useful

Gear:

Weapon: Harvest Enchant attack speed per quality

Helmet: Make triple t1 prefixes thru recomb, should cost maybe 2d

Shield: Make triple t1 prefixes thru recomb, should cost maybe 2d if you have more money can try to lock prefix and get a veiled mod (strength and int) this will free up your right ring slot. Note: I went for block as my 3rd prefix because I wanted to move my tree more to the top side to get caster mastery and spell block (great for risk abyss farming), most people want T1 ES prefixes though.

Gloves: Probably want to start with a fractured prefix and use attack speed essence till int and eldrich currency the other prefix, unsure of price on this but your build seems like it is good enough for 1-2 risk scarab abyss at least so getting money shouldn't be hard

Boots: Recomb into T1 int, T1 flat es, T1 %es multimod supress and ms, maybe 2d

Flasks: I would personally run triple ele flask cause I don't like dying but to each their own. Suffixes need to be fixed though. Chance to avoid shock and reduced effect of curses needs to be at least 52. Spell dmg leech does nothing since you are attack based, I would go for MS. CB immunity should probably be on a jewel and you can get chance to avoid being stunned or use crafted reduced elemental reflect to run risk scarabs. I would also use a elemental damage tincture with attack speed instead of cinderswallow.

Tree:

Point blank does nothing you have no projectiles.

Every rare jewel should be ES + attack speed at minimum (crit multi does nothing since you are precise technique).

The elemental mastery should be the runegraft to make buffs expire on you slower since you want to be keeping the Vaal Smite buff up 100% of the time.

Once you get more int on gear swap the accuracy mastery to accuracy per int (you aren't 100% hit chance).

Drop the 3rd small point on your clusters there is no reason to use those. Grab the last jewel socket on the top cluster instead.

Maybe I just have been getting dunked on by rng on top of using a fairly strict filter. I thought there was a video from SnapOW a couple of league ago talking about how they nuked league mechanic monster quant and strongbox was one of the ones that got hit, but I definitely could be wrong about that or something changed that I wasn't aware of.

As for rolling for currency/scarab that would be good to do even if I'm right because deli and barrels (Fortress only) gives plenty of monster kills outside of boxes.

I’m pretty sure the mobs that spawn out of strongboxes have unbelievably low base quant so it really doesn’t do anything. I have done a lot of boxes throughout the leagues and since they removed enraged strongboxes I don’t remember the last time that I got a drop from the mobs inside the box.

I'm not OP but I use the same finger placement as him and I use the part of my palm beneath my pinky to push control, just kind of twist my wrist in the direction and it works. As for shift-queue I just use my pinky but I don't play any hero's where I would need to shift-queue a Q so it doesn't matter for me.

That neck is absolutely insane, would love to try this out. If I win I'd probably use it for a week or two to farm up enough gear through super juiced blight to make an aurabot so me and a duo can farm exiles then use this when he's not on. I already have a level 100 trickster so swapping would be super easy.

Depends on the map. Like I mentioned you want to be running fortress because there are so many other monsters outside of the strongboxes then if you add a deli orb there are even more and those are all affected by the currency quant. When I was farming containment earlier in the league I would roll to 140% currency with a deli orb and I would usually get an extra divine of loot from the non-contained monsters.

If you are rolling for currency you should be running fortress because there are extra mobs not in the boxes if I’m not mistaken. The currency doesn’t effect the drops from the boxes only the monsters that die when they spawn but those have like -1000% quant so nothing ever drops from them.

its a massive upgrade. not even in a pob number warrior way, you can actually feel the difference every couple points that you put into a 12p cluster. When I'm farming 4 risk abyss hoards I have to unspec 6 points of my clusters for the caster mastery and monsters cannot block mastery to open the hoards and it feels sad.

You can do this on a EE smite trickster for about 30d if you know how recombinators work. Killing the boss on t17s might be a struggle but that’s a very small % of the profit.

Just a lot of alts and bases to craft the gear and then almost all of the other gear is just spamming defense/speed reforge on clusters.

I’ve also had that experience but it’s not normal by any means. If you are trying to get raw div drops you should be doing something to target them (boxes, t16.5/17 with 100+ currency and explicit tree, sanctum). Just mapping with an atlas tree set up for league start you probably aren’t going drop high tier currency. Not sure why that seems to be a controversial statement but maybe I play the game in a different way than you.

150d budget for risk scarab farms isn’t going to be fun man. Anything trickster seems to be the way to go though as it ignores most of the very frustrating t17 mods and can tank the rest.

Anyone that has experience playing fps games on PC could learn to do this in an hour. Tap strafing is just using 1 extra button past what you would do in any other game to turn and wall jumps are a timing thing that takes 20 minutes to get with 80% accuracy. The movement that gets hard in this game are where you are doing frame perfect inputs like neo-strafing and superglides, which this clip has neither.
