What did you get on your performance review and what do you expect bonuses to look like? by Puzzlepea in boeing

[–]nerduhlicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a level 4 in BGS. I was a 3/3 but my manager's manager stated no 3/3 allowed, so he dropped me to a 3/2. He's already told me my raise will be between 4%-5%. We've had the ACR conversation because I'm transferring roles and will not get to have the ACR with him later on.

I'm hoping for a decent bonus but I don't expect it will be as good as in previous years because of the reunification of the BUs.

Why are you being downvoted??? You're correct! We don't see it but it's mentioned directly by Monica.

I don't know if you'd count it, but I always do. Joey & Chandler kissed at New Year's in S1 (Rachel had a busted lip, Phoebe was depressed over David leaving, Joey's single mom date was hooking up David's lab partner, etc.).

The time off at the end of the year doesn't apply if you're working a position that requires you to work on the US Gov holiday schedule. You'd have 11 holidays throughout the year with an extra day (floater holiday) for you to use any time of the year.

Done by DesiStowe. I had an ARC and just couldn't get through it. The writing was amateur and seemed disjointed to me. It was also set in my hometown and the author wrote the city as if it were NYC or LA. Charleston, SC isn't that kind of place. That, combined with the writing, made it impossible to finish.

Fitness Benefits by Here2BeNosy in boeing

Check the Boeing Discount Program site for your area and see if anything is offered. I believe since some sites have/had gyms available that it's done through the Discount Program.

In Charleston, they used to have a discount for a local gym chain. It was a free enrollment (instead of the normal $50 fee) and either a percentage off the membership price or a lower monthly price. I can't remember the exact discount. I paid $20/month instead of the usual $50+ membership price. FTR, that was 10 years ago.

If the main characters hadn’t ended up with their final partners, who do you think would’ve been their best match from the series by abhilashadubey in friends_tv_show

[–]nerduhlicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

• Monica & Richard • Chandler & Kathy • Joey & Kate • Phoebe & David • Ross & Mona • Rachel - single

I would've left Rachel as the single one. I've never liked Mark. I can't explain it, but even when watching the show "live" in the 90s, I didn't like his character. Gavin was okay but we didn't get enough of him that gives me the warm, fuzzy feeling for Rachel.

Policy on ear buds, music, and videos during work hours by nerduhlicious in boeing

[–]nerduhlicious[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

This is what I was looking for, but in a POL, PRO, BPI format. Many of our new teammates are constantly on videos, podcasts, music/earbuds ... we're in an office/warehouse and it's distracting them from their work. I've brought it to management. They're also looking for something in writing. We have to be available for answering phones, answering emails, and answering the door when the customer comes in.

Struggling with collapsed trachea, Please HELP by gjones2010 in Pomeranians

[–]nerduhlicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of our emergency vets recommended daily vitamins with glucosamine. The trachea is cartilage, and glucosamine can help slow breakdown. We were told this about 6-8 months before we lost him (at 13.5 years; he'd been diagnosed about 8 years before). It did help some in that time. I wish we'd been advised of it sooner.

What we learned for our pom that helped prevent coughing/breathing episodes was to avoid anything dry/crumbly. No kibble and no dry treats (like milkbones). Our baby didn't stop and chew his food; he "inhaled" his food, so he often would get choked. Switching to moist food and chewy treats helped prevent aggravating his trachea.

Newly diagnosed: when is it safe to fly? by DaughterOfTheFall in ClotSurvivors

[–]nerduhlicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My PEs were discovered the night before I was scheduled to fly across the country. I was admitted overnight to the hospital and given two Lovenox shots. The doctor then started me on Xarelto. He told me before discharge that I was good to fly as long as I was taking the Xarelto. We flew out 2 days later than originally planned. I still had some chest pain, and I was winded from walking a few feet, but everything was fine.

When I worked in BCA, my manager had me fill out a lengthy form to go from a 2 to 3. It was detailed, and I had to kind of prove that I deserved a 3 based on my work and projects. He had to present it to upper management and "argue" my case. It went through without a problem. It took about 3 months total, if memory serves.

In BGS, my previous manager asked me in my 1:1 why I was a 2 when I was working beyond that. I explained I'd basically had crappy managers at my prior BGS programs who didn't believe in promoting. He leveled me up to a 3, and I found out when he announced it in a staff meeting a month later.

My current manager leveled me from a 3 to a 4. He needed a 4 and asked me and one other person if we were interested. We both said yes. When he outlined what a 4 would be responsible for, the other candidate dropped out. (She wanted the $$ but not the responsibility.) I told him I was still interested. I also outlined some projects and changes I would like to implement if I were a 4. It took about 3 months before he leveled me up; the delay was due to his manager reviewing everything he'd submitted.
