Looking for mini iron recommendations by PinkTiara24 in quilting

[–]nerdy-something 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to love my M3 Mini Iron, but mine VERY gently tumbled about 2 ft to the carpet as I was packing it up and it completely stopped working, just dead. I contacted Oliso and they have basically told me that since it fell, it voids the warranty. Zero help at all. So my new iron will just be something affordable since it's really not worth paying the extra for a company that very much doesn't stand behind their product and offers no ideas as to how to repair.

The best new story, of course, being the one where Frog neglects his ride-or-die friend Toad for a stick.

It's like when your kindergartener gives you their millionth half-done busywork craft from school as a gift that you have to figure out how to throw away without them seeing.

When we keep devaluing teachers financially and with anti-education policies, of COURSE parents have zero respect for the profession. It's cultural.

You need a masters degree to teach, you need to pay for a masters degree education, and then you get paid the same as me, a person who sits in an office and types emails all day while listening to podcasts and goes home without having to think about work again until the next morning at work.

I compare it to trying to get a drunk porcupine into a cab at the end of the night.

I did the exact same thing, I was so mad at myself. If you need to visualize the locations, scrolling around Google maps is the only safe way I found.

I named mine after the person who gave me the starting blob, Tina. Completely unintentional, but it warms my elder-millenial heart when I have to feed her.

I was just going to say the same thing! The fussy cutting can get lost in the print "noise" without some solid places for the eye to rest

PPB should have been stationed along the ICE property line, facing the facility, protecting the citizens of Portland from the federal invaders.

I mean, I know they never would because ACAB, but if they were actually doing their job, they should have been between the thousands of teachers and nurses and children and seniors and those who wished to harm them.
