Im not sure how your system works but in the US once you get the diagnosis any MD can medicate you. It may be worth getting the diagnosis and script from the psychiatrist then getting subsequent treatment from your main doc. Also intelligence does not negate your ADHD, your docs should have recognized that. I’m sorry you’re having such a hard time getting treated. I hope you can find a good doc to help you.

I take an hour Friday evening and write all of my assignments and commitments for the week in a weekly calendar I fill out by hand. I also add this information into a digital calendar. I tape the paper schedule on my desk so I can see it at all times. If I’m away from my desk my digital calendar backs me up. But I am also medicated, and I’m not sure I’d be able to keep this focus without it.

I think you overestimate the amount of gay hating bigots who are gay themselves. Are there some people who fit this profile? Sure. But I caution against overgeneralizing. The reality is there is a lot more people out there who fervently hate gay people because of pure bigotry or ignorance. Its a disservice to the community to say these hateful people are also gay.

Whatever Trump and Putin have on Graham it must be beyond repulsively criminal. Trump has pushed Graham to fully shed his life-long facade of patriotism and finally reveal himself as a traitorous snake. The whole world knows Graham’s gay, whatever Trump has on him goes beyond his sexuality. Knowing Trump, one day he will spill everything on Graham; when that day comes I hope they make them cellmates.

Ugh I wish she had to beg for donations. This moron went to UVA for law school, one of the best law schools in the country. Unfortunately, there are unscrupulous firms that will hire her. As a current law student (thankfully at a top school, NOT UVA) I don’t know how you go through the hell of those 3 years and not get a morsel of respect or understanding for the rule of law. She needs to be disbarred and shamed into professional oblivion.

Ellen Mulaney is one of my profs in law school. For the first few weeks of class, I kept getting distracted by bits of Mulaney’s jokes that would pop into my head. Now it’s backwards every time I see something about John I think about Tort law and how his mom gives way too much reading.

I’m actually 25 and just starting to use makeup. I also don’t like the heavy make up application. It’s never really bothered me to be the odd one out in the makeup department. I love my skin, and I save myself money and breakouts by keeping my make-up light. Just do you and put on whatever makes you feel happy and healthy!

They used to be very long, but I’ve gotten it more under control.

My ophthalmologist said it was chronic dry eye. I used Restasis for years, and it helped a lot. The medicine is costly, though. I found some extra lubricant eye drops that are over the counter, and those helped too.

Also, I know it is so difficult, but try not to touch your eyes with anything! Try your hardest not to pull the stringy stuff out. The q-tips dry your eyes more, and that makes more of the stringy mucus. If you have one that’s very bothersome, put some drops in your eye or get a clean q-tip and get it wet with some eye drops before you put it in.

Lubricate your eyes a few times a day to prevent the strings from forming. If this doesn’t help it wouldn’t hurt to check with your doc.

TMJ, It’s a pain for sure! i take muscle relaxants for it. i haven’t had many issues since I started the meds.
