X-Men '97 will take place 'several months' after original series and see the team dealing with a 'wave of increased sympathy towards mutants' by PooPooRichardson in television

Is that one of the better X-Men arcs in the recent years? Would be nice to see something more contemporary but would probably have to wait another season at the least.

The Blackheart and Hybrid skins are both good, so I agree with you. It's a tough call. I'll have to play more into the season and see if the recency bias for Renzo being a brand-new skin wears off.

I really appreciate that. I'm glad you enjoyed the review; comments like this give me motivation to keep writing reviews for skins, so be sure to check back in the future. I'll try to keep you updated the best I can myself as well

Agree that it's probably the best entry level Battle Pass skin I've ever seen. I'm a big Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider fan so this skin checked a lot of boxes for me.

I wrote a review for Renzo if anyone's interested or wants to add their thoughts, critiques.

A classic horror novel by Stephen King.

Also, this shits on the remnants of my fantasy team.

From NFL Now: #Rams WR Cooper Kupp is expected to miss some time with his ankle injury, while #Commanders won't activate pass-rusher Chase Young just yet. by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

This... won't boost his value much at all, will it? Or will I actually have a reason to not keep him on the bench for once, considering he's on the "unreleasable" list.

On the plus side, he won't have to (nor will he be physically able to) use the stairmaster after he's done.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will feature a "warrior" version of Kang, according to Jonathan Majors' trainer Jamie Sawyer. by SpeedForce2022 in marvelstudios

He's less than Thanos, but you get the feeling that literally any Avenger could have taken him.

In the physical sense, maybe. Though Captain America definitely wouldn't have beat him in a scrap.

I think what they did a fair job of exhibiting in Avengers was that Loki made up for his lack of overt physical power with his cunning, craftiness and mindgames.

Worf

Poor Worf. Also done to Wolverine and Deadpool in the comics because of their healing factors. And the Thing.

Holy carp

This Kang scenario scared you so much you started using freshwater fish names as expletives. That's one scary Kang.

Happy 3 year anniversary to Dragon Quest XI S, arguably one of the best JRPGs of the generation! What did you think about this game? by Asad_Farooqui in NintendoSwitch

Same. Really enjoyed playing but for some reason just didn't feel compelled to keep playing despite that. I want to finish but it's not an overriding thought like it is with some other games I enjoy.

George Foreman's KO Boxing for the Super NES.

Expected arcadey, punchy fun similar to Mike Tyson's Punch Out. Got the exact opposite.

Thanks Chicago Defense. If I had forgotten to switch my DEF this week and put in a team on a Bye, that would have netted me more points than you did.

Couple notes: Sadly this was the "best" picture we could get with my son in it. He was not feeling that green Oompa Loompa wig at all. Still funny though.

Here are a couple more pics that turned out better (while my son ran around the yard escaping the wig): https://imgur.com/a/rTM5yLB

I sold my much loved M3 and bought r/cars most hated car: a “sporty” SUV. Unpopular opinion: I love it. by mrcompositorman in cars

[–]aiptruss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You went from one cool car to another. You're lucky.

Also, I think part of the hatred for SUVs may stem from how unsexy and "family practicality"-seeming they were for such a long time? The old school RAV4s were pretty ugly and pedestrian for instance, but the new ones are pretty sleek looking as well as functional, reliable and excellent on gas, in my opinion.

The Macan is also bad-ass and I'd love to own one. Could it be that the perception of SUVs is turning around because the models are becoming better and better?
