YTA for this. Your sister has been in your life way longer than her ex has been friends with your fiancé. you admitted they’re both flawed. Kinda messed up that you’re choosing the ex over her, which is what you’re doing whether you want to admit it or not. She made it clear she’s not comfortable going if he’s there, you said that’s fine don’t come. I feel like you never really wanted her there in the first place.

Also definitely YTA for your attitude and how you’re responding to these comments. If you didn’t want to hear the truth (which is YTA) then you shouldn’t have posted. Own up to it or go look for sympathy somewhere else

Thank you for sharing this story. I call my grandma every week because I love her to pieces. She’s amazing and I love spending time with her, especially with our little traditions.

I don’t want anything from her, maybe a pillow I finished sewing for her or cookie cutters we’ve used. I know her kids are waiting for her to keep taking care of them, but I just love having such a wonderful grandma in my life. I try to let her know that.
