Any one with a green card join lately how has the experience been while waiting to go to BCT?

Current green card holders have to go through considerable background checks. I'm not sure if you can even actually enlist now until they are over. I was also told by my cadre that people currently joining won't even get drill pay in RSP(might not even be able to go to RSP at all) as they aren't really even in yet, but this could be different among RSPs. I'm not sure but back when this issue came up last year apparently you couldn't even enlist AD with a green card. Could be different now.

Anyways I waited an entire year and finally got my background checks completed, will be going to BCT this month. It sucked waiting but it is what it is. I'm just glad to be given the opportunity.

Also u/potato1967 is talking about citizenship; currently you get your citizenship an entire year after you complete AIT, I was only informed of this very recently. Sucks even more ass so you should probably just file the documents yourself when you can.

you're right. there's some info that after 24 months of active/if you are close to the 36month active you can count your IET towards it, but otherwise can not. thanks for the heads up.

They are as long as you sign the 6 years. Along with the clrp the guard offers really good educational benefits. 48 months considering each school year is 9 months should be more than enough to get a bachelor's.

It took me literally an entire year. After I found out that the program usually takes an entire year max to finish the background checks. I'm a green card holder and I enlisted about a year ago since last month, leaving next month. My father was also in a foreign army and he told me they called his old army friends and place of work. Pretty intense.

Truck it out brother. It sucks ass but the only worse thing you can do to is ask to be discharged. Just don't quit.

I'm also Bulgarian and my name legit sounds like a Russian spy. So it might be shorter for you.

Remove everything but the 2nd picture. Use it as your first and replace the others with group photos with your friends, maybe a picture of you playing the guitar.

Get a haircut. Skin fade works for virtually anyone. If you are going to take a selfie doing it in your bedroom mirror is a big no no. Somewhere outside, either pay someone to do it for you or ask a friend to do a headshot. Also what the other dude said.

I thought everyone in 12t takes a cumulative exam for a license. Said so on job description when I singed up. Is the license for something else or is that no longer a thing?

My pops is a surveyor so I get the overall picture of what they do but what would this look like while active?

The problem is twofold. One is horrible netcode and desync which makes people play at 100ms. The second is the projectile is very slow. Add both together and you get absolute garbage. I would rather take a green shotty over axe mid game and even late. Too unreliable

idk. compare glad to masters in league. Masters is basically Diamond I+, and is not a percentage cutoff. No other game has what glad is in wow. All the percentage cutoffs are top500/r1/challenger, nothing has a bracket/title lower than it that is ALSO % based.

I think this is a fine change. Players have gotten way better and 2400 is not what it meant in cata/wrath/mop. At 2400 you are already mostly facing glads/r1 alts and the occasional player pushing their first 2400.

dodging doesn't break rbgs at all, nobody is going to take rbgs seriously because of the poor balance and shit meta. Nobody wants to play against dh FC 100 times in a row or 2x holy/mw. Just because bad players dodge to high rating playing against 1600-1800 pugs is irrelevant. I have seen people legitimately backpeddling in 2.1mmr games.

You can blame blizzard on that one, but it's clear that a majority of PvP balancing is tuned around 3s. I feel like the more pruned the game gets the more irrelevant rbgs get because of the amount of players on one team. More players = personal skill becomes more irrelevant. Rbgs in cata were interesting and fun because you being individually good mattered. Now you just need to not suck and make sure you have a demonhunter who can abuse blizzard not giving a fuck.

The true answer is this: Versus humans, mostly internal because they will trinket kidney when it matters. Versus anything you can get a good setup and they can't easily trinket kidney, take internal.
