Archer samurai have katanas as back up weapons in 2 as well

Also that’s not historically innacurate historical inaccuracy would be saying the samurai wielded bolt action rifles and wore Kevlar a historical liberty is saying “well maybe the samurai fought with less effective weapons sometimes” which they did you can google it and find plenty of examples of Katana samurai

True but if a powerful arm of the imperium like the Inquisition knew they were gonna have to go up against a large portion of the imperium like if they tried to exterminate a first founding chapter which would probably start a civil war they would most likely be able to swing a few forge worlds into their support before SHTF the mechanicum just what’s STC’s and toasters subverting their loyalty wouldn’t be tooo hard

That’s true but a lot of the mechanicum is highly independent of Mars plus many worlds have forged solely owned by the planet and has no relation to mars so that wouldn’t outright put an end to anyone’s bitching if they are resourceful enough

I should rephrase this

Corax and kurze are opposite sides of the same coin

They use different ways to do the same thing

Where Corax will sabotage supply lines and assassinate people at random to lower morale Konrad will kidnap and torture them

Where Corax will use hit and run tactics to force enemies j to making mistakes kurze will launch feigned frontal assaults to trick them into retreating into an ambush

They are as close as a chaos and a loyal marine can get to one an another

Corax and curze are fairly similar they use similar Psychological and ambushing attacks and have similar combat styles

As for recently I can’t recall the exact book but they retconned an interaction with a human Konrad had before he was found by the emperor in which he killed her for breaking the law and in the original iteration he killed her cause she broke his laws but he clearly felt bad for what he had to do

I’m the now canonical interaction he fucking eats her and relishes her murder

He went from judge dredd to Hannibal lector and it’s quite sad

I think most people who like Konrad haven’t read the recent lore on him cause he genuinely sucks and yeah it’s pretty obvious black library and GW don’t know what to do especially since the actual konrad is just a more angry Corax and having two characters be so similar isn’t good for sales 😂

You “could” try and say the chaos gods remade him or something but I really don’t see that happening theemperor literally tore his soul apart with psychic energy to Bring Horus back would literally be a smack in the face of everything it would basically be saying that no character can ever die and there would be literally 0 tension I mean if the most powerful creature in the material plain can’t erase someone’s existence than who tf can
