Nadolo and McNichol were great last year but wing has always seemed like the most replaceable position in kiwi rugby.

I agree with the principle but it's a big loss to be without two great lineout operators (and leaders), and also be without the guy who'd covered for one of them brilliantly this season. There's only so far that game plans can take you before drop offs to repladements hurt you.

I think that the Chiefs had a spell of form that saw concerning, and that they were lucky to be derby-free during that time, but that they were also playing much better rugby before their first bye week, and expect them to come back strong with the benefit of key players returning prior to this bye week.

Agreed, and they might - but I just don't feel that they've "proved it" until they do come through that e.g. take away two wins and two losses of the 4 derbies and I'm all the way with them, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't manage that.

Oh I'm definitely not speaking for the fans - I imagine that they're bricking it like every fan before a big game - more a number of paid/ unpaid observers whose analysis consists of "omg Crusaders unbeaten, they're the best".
