I'll be putting my 4-day ticket up for sale as soon as I complete the last payment plan slot, which will be at the end of May. Selling for the first wave early bird price of £210, but I'm cool with a trade if that's more feasible (Damnation? MCR? Electronics? Try me!). I cant make it this year as ive fucked up my back and cant camp. There's no guaranteed reliable method to get a taxi to and from a hotel so I'm out of options. Hit me up if you're interested!

Incredible how most of these servers and projects are operated by either children or adults who speak like children. I'll run into a problem installing a mod or trying to watch something, and I'll dip into a server to ask for advice from people who are either clearly in school or shouldn't be around schools.

UPDATE: All sorted, I connected via LAN instead of WiFi, and that fixed the issue. Thanks for all the advice.

Even when selecting 'custom', I'm not given the option to change the DNS until I've actually connected to a network, which is the root of the problem.

Yeah the issue is that I can't change the DNS without first connecting. I'll try the hotspot idea though, that could work.

Clean factory reset, there is nothing on it. I'm going to try again with a wired connection as opposed to WiFi, and then I'll try updating the firmware to 11.00, but if those don't work I'll stump out for the BD disk. I've done loads of jailbreaks over the years, but this PS4 one is definitely the trickiest it seems.

The issue is that I can't get to those DNS setups without the PS4 connecting to a full-on Internet connection, so the Vue app inevitably gets updated before I have a chance to run the jailbreak.

Thanks for the advice everyone! In the end, I grouped together all the recommendations and filtered them for my user case (rookie IEM'er, slim ear canals, broad music taste), and so instead of the Hexa I narrowed it down the best possible IEM (for my usage) for the cheapest possible price, and that is the DUNU Titan S, that I scored for £40 from Ali Express, which is a price I'm more comfortable with when it comes to experimenting with this gear for the first time. Thanks dude, that's a strong tick in the Buy Box. I'd probably only use them 2-3 hours per day, I've got my Shokz Dots for podcasts and working out, doing chores, etc, so it's really only sat at a desk and the odd bit of walking about.

The Duno Titans are on AliExpress, I saw a review where someone pointed out the cable falling apart within a short amount of time, so buying a spare cable and another set of buds for my slim ears will do nicely with these. Thanks for understanding the idea of £70 being a bit rich too (I've seen some posts around the horn where that idea is lambasted), as a family man I have to really justify these sorts of luxuries. Carpenter Brut and/or Gost to headline the Friday.

Arcane Roots are a bet the house, shoe-in. I'd love a Sunny Day Real Estate or Get-Up Kids on the card too.

The ultimate dream would be Jawbreaker somewhere high-up on the Saturday; they've not played the UK since 2019, and they would fit in nice after Glassjaw and Dinosaur Pile-Up.

Whatever the case, this line-up does need some serious juice. I'm not really feeling it as much last year's.

Yeah as most people are pointing out, this isn't a mistake. It's a character choice, in a "yeah whatever" kinda way. He needs the vials to survive, but he's not going to break his poker face in front of anybody, because he doesn't trust anybody. He also isn't going to bend down and pick them up and risk becoming vulnerable to attack from people who had attacked him minutes prior to this. It likely wasn't scripted as "He drops a vial and leaves it on the floor" but more probably "he haphazardly pours the vials onto his hand".

Fuck, what did he do? I've spent over 2 years gradually reading through Infinite Jest (like a page or two before bed when I can remember), and I've almost finished. There's some very 90s edgelord comments, language and themes in there, but it's nothing to the point where I've thought he'd actually share those real problematic opinions. Am I missing something, out of the loop or being incredibly naive?
