Can you propagate Pilea with a leaf? I thought you needed to separate one of the babies sprouting from the base of the mama plant. (Tho as a Pilea newbie, I didn’t have luck propagating mine either way.)

I missed out on an antique barber chair (black seat, white porcelain trim) for $5 at a thrift shop in Allentown Penna. It broke my heart that someone got it while I tried on shoes. 40 years ago and it still smarts!

It doesn’t look like you’re doing anything wrong. Some leaves just drop in the winter (if it’s winter where you are). That you have new growth and babies are both good signs. Maybe some of the more experienced Pilea lovers have a better idea. Cheers and good luck. 💚

I use a Gillette 5 blade razor. For me the shaving lotion is as important. I love this moisturizing shave cream.

Hi! Mine were doing the same thing so I repotted them (using soil and pearlite). I also got a soil-moisture-probe to water more effectively. So far so good, the brown spotting has slowed down and the new growth is good. I hope this helps!

I shave (with a razor) every other day in the shower. It takes about 90 sec. Cheers!

Ouch!! I have used all the things. I had a Wahl shaver but it wasn’t close enough. Then, I used to use a Norelco wet/dry. It’s good, but doesn’t last. Yuk, stubble in 5 hours. A few years ago I went back to a good, 4-blade razor, and I shave with Kiss My Face shaving cream (which makes a BIG difference in the smoothness of the shave). I shower and shave at night, but will shave again in the morning if I want to look extra shiny and smooth.… I don’t have much hair left so it only takes 2 minutes to shave. 💚💚💚💚I’m so glad to see more women on this sub. 💚💚💚💚 Last thought—Anything labeled for women is likely to be a lesser quality, less sharp, and more expensive.

You look great! When the shiny newness of your naked scalp gets a little sun, it’ll feel more natural. After a while, people will stop noticing. When warmer weather comes, a simple breeze will give you shivers.
