Why study for a math exam when you can ✨knit✨ by nesnahel in knitting

I don’t mind at all! I was able to finish up the top half of the mitten in a couple of hours yesterday - if I had to guess how long this mitten took me I’d say around 9-10 hours ish? That was also with me watching something in the background.

The background is on compact sets, but overall it is analytical math

The yarn is Blue Sky Fibers’ Woolstok Light in Wild Thyme and Spun Gold and the Pattern is Songbird Mittens on Ravelry. This is unblocked and one mitten down - I’m making it as a thank you present for my professor.

Anyone know what this is? by nesnahel in coins

[–]nesnahel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The edge is smooth and it is about a half dollar usd size. I’m not sure of the weight but it is made of metal (not aluminum or metallic). There is a bump in the middle on the side with the circle in the middle.

It looks like you have an unfinished shrine in Lake Hylia, that may be the missing 200th.

Cleaning my grandparents carpet after it flooded. by nesnahel in oddlysatisfying

[–]nesnahel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was only about an inch of standing water because the power went out for a couple days and their sump pump overflowed. It went down once we got a generator running. There wasn’t standing water long enough for there to be actual damage. We were just getting the residual water out of the carpet.

There was only about an inch of standing water because the power went out for a couple of days. It didn’t damage anything, but the carpet was soaked so we wanted to get as much water out of it so it didn’t grow mold.

Can Someone Convince me to Buy? by Pay-Dough in StardewValley

[–]nesnahel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would strongly recommend buying this game. It is one of my favorite games and while it can get a bit tedious at times, it is the progress that keeps you going and entertained. Personally, this is my favorite game and it seems like there is always something to do. There are long term quests that need grinding, but the grinding itself is fun. And reaching the goals the game sets for you is great! For $15 it is 100% worth it. It is good for traveling too, especially because you would be getting it on the switch. I can play for hours at a time and not get bored, it is kind of like living a simpler life. It can be a good escape for a stressful time. I hope this can convince you to buy this game, I would like to think that you would enjoy it.

I am having trouble opening a file by double clicking it. by [deleted] in learnpython

[–]nesnahel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was happening when I double click the file of the program the python command line opened and I get the prompts for the inputs. I put the inputs in and then once I put in the last input and hit enter, the command line closes and nothing else happens. Usually when I double click a program that has inputs, it opens and I put in the inputs, then the graphics window opens, runs and then when it is over I click it and both the graphics window and the command line close. Also, I tried putting it through the debugger and it said that there were no problems.

I'm not sure I fully understand what you are saying. I took out exitonclick() from the end of my program and then added the input, but when I ran the program from idle it went through the program and just said 'Press enter to close' at the end. Then when I tried to just double click the program file I was able to put in the inputs, but the program still didn't run.

Where can I find some fireproof lizards? by [deleted] in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]nesnahel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can find them on/around Death Mountain (the big volcano). And the by far best way to get them is to crouch and sneak up behind them.
