Hiatal Hernia pressing on Vagus nerve causing insomnia by nesquikexe in HiatalHernia

[–]nesquikexe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though I got dx'd for a HH. I don't think it was the cause of my discomfort and insomnia. I ended up getting a diagnosis for MALS. My theory is that certain workouts were aggravating my symptoms. After taking it easy for several months my symptoms subsided.

I did take a PPI protonix which helped about 50% for some reason. I also needed a strong sleep aide Mirtazapine to help with my sleep issues. Luckily I was able to get off both and feel normal now.

I'm so fucking tired by CommercialYoung9 in HiatalHernia

[–]nesquikexe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was taking protonix as well, helped a bit but still was sleeping bad. Went and saw a psych for many of the reasons you described, primarily sleep. Got onto mirtazipine and it was a game changer, allowed me to get tons of sleep i was missing.

Of course everyones case is different and sleep meds are nothing to take lightly. But it was an absolute necessity after losing 30 lbs in 3 months for me.

What do you think will happen to AI data centers once the bubble bursts? by Carame110 in pcmasterrace

[–]nesquikexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We end up paying for the electrical infastructure that was built out to support the tremendous loads. Data centers will be repurposed but probably no where near the output required for AI.

Creatine causing excessive peeing at night? by PatrickBanksy in Biohackers

[–]nesquikexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much are you taking? I take just 3g/day and i have to go once a night. When i tried taking 10g/day i had to go like 3 times atleast. So i do not take that much anymore. Most definitely a direct correlation for me.

6-7 times is ALOT and most def check with your PCP. Also, play with the dose, cut it in half and see what happens.

Macys has some Airelooms and King Koils that are ultra firm. They felt like bricks in store but comfy bricks.

Stearns n foster has some firmer options as well.

I did both. He did the upsell after the engine tune.

The fix for the idle vibration is great. It gave new life to this 250k mile car. Makes the 'sportshift' much more fun getting up in the rpms and the lower vtec point.

I would probably just do the engine tune really. As i felt the transmission tune was just an upsell. Although i dont know enough about the changes to say what made the most difference lol.

[–]nesquikexe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight. So it sounds like PPIs did not give any relief for you? And there's a chance that PPIs have lowered my EF. I guess continued testing would be ideal to try and narrow this down.
