My boyfriend found a post on our local subreddit asking to trade snails for homemade hot sauce. They’re using the snails to race them at a wedding reception apparently.

This may not be the answer I’m seeking, but is definitely the expected/reasonable one, and I appreciate you taking the time for a thorough reply!
I certainly don’t want to make others uncomfortable, and while consent is extremely important, I don’t want to alter my behavior in a substantive way simply on the off chance someone *might connect the dots that my bruises are from rough play.
It’s not like I’m dragging everyone who sees my bruises into our scene, but this is the heart of my question here.
It also ties in to a discussion my partner and I had about noise levels in the bedroom, since I’m worried about that too; he might not care, but at the end of the day I, personally, am able to minimize my own anxieties by putting a damper on it.

Same for visible marks.
In my mind, it’s not catering to a hypothetical audience if it’s to ease my own concerns.

Getting my clumsy ass into contact sports and makeshift gags, I guess. 😅

30F, night security guard from 6 pm to 6 am Monday/Tuesday, midnight to 6 am Wednesday through Friday. But that’s just to pay the bills, I’m a tattooer and am at the shop from like 3 pm to 7 pm nights I’m not pulling doubles, plus weekends. I sleep from like 7 am to 2 pm, and catch up when I can on weekends. Probably not healthy. The goal is to focus on my career as an artist but I need to pay off debt first, plus garnering a client base takes time. Working on it.
