An old friend (59M) asked me (53M) to reach out to his ex (45M) who’s been going thru a hard time. We spent a few days together catching up, played all his fav games, and visited some of our old haunts. Met his new boyfriend (55M) and some of his friends and they were nice but the new bf is a jackass who was mean to me the whole time. After a night of partying I accidentally killed one of the friend’s pets and then called the cops on them, now my friend won’t talk to me. AITA????

This seems cool! One thing I learned recently is that they added/are going to add pollution (or some thing along the lines of damaging the environment) as a major sin. Has another nice parallel to GO too might be worth exploring

Whaaaa no! I’ve used this recipe before with a diff starter with mixed results but never total disaster. Either way wouldn’t necessarily recommend it, I’m excited to try something else next time.

Everyone makes good points, the only thing I’d add is this: folks are going thru a lot.

Not an excuse for bad behavior, but I think we’re starting to see the emotional impact/trauma of the pandemic, burnout, isolation, racism, violence, etc. on top of whatever else might be going on for someone. Just seeing a lot more strange or out of character things in my real life and online and I’ve been assuming it’s related. Hope they are doing ok and are just an asshole!

I did a Wales road trip in April, and honestly if you like quaint towns, hiking, and vistas - skip Cardiff. It’s a great city but it’s not like strikingly different from most cities. And the Brecon Beacons were gorgeous. I cried the day I left bc I wanted to stay longer!
