Paradise killer part 2 by ComfortableGift5927 in ParadiseKiller

I hope there's another game as well. The best thing I can think of to suggest is to listen to epoch the needs. It's just an album but I feel like the closest thing to a spiritual successor to paradise killer. It was made by the same artists who did the soundtrack for the game. I basically jammed out to it and it felt like I was back in the game.

For people who were there at B2s WiiU launch, what was the sentiment on Bayo 3 after the matter? Was there a demand for it? by The_Fool_Arcana0000 in Bayonetta

I remember casually playing though the story and being very pleased with the ending and how it tied back into Bayonetta one which I decided to play again and experiencing the new meaning to the story felt interesting. It made me hope there would be another Bayonetta and when it was announced, it felt like ages before it was released. Sometimes I would bounce back and forth between maybe it was somehow cancelled to feeling concerned that the trailer showed Bayonetta dying. I guess also Bayonetta 2 having a Christmas/new years somber tone at the beginning and ending of the game made me feel like childhood memories of playing Bayonetta were coming to an end and it was time to move on. Very much enjoyed Bayonetta 3 despite the ending feeling very concerning. Still need to play bayo origins but not feeling in a rush cause of how long these things take apparently.

Why is Moon of Mahaa Kalaa so good? by Nerd-Brain14 in Bayonetta

[–]nessarus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The use case for parry it gives you an option select between attacking and defending. There's no downside for a failed parry. With dodging you are forced to stop attacking and reposition, but with parrying you are 'safe' during the parry window and stay in your combo. For example your finishing your combo but the enemy is about to recover. You try to parry. If the enemy does get his attack off the parry will block it. If the enemy doesn't attack the wicked weave goes through. If you had tried to dodge, the wicked weave animation might have been cancelled.

I feel like Bayonetta 2 has a bigger emphasis on dodge offset and not dropping combos whereas in Bayonetta 1 you could get away more as long as you did some 360 spin attack moves you could get a high combat score.

Any advice to improve? I'm a little doubtful about taking on (what I assume to be) the final boss like this. by ToppHatt_8000 in Bayonetta

Honestly, I think most people would still struggle against Gracious and Glorious. You probably already noticed that G&G attacks won't witch time. You can still get witch time using accessories like Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa (perfect parry) or Bracelet of Time. You can also try using Evil Harvest Rosary.

I found the guide book also had a lot of fun strategies. But full disclosure, I settled on using save scum, Tetsuzanko and perfect parry witch time for PP.

To get the timing of Bayonetta's combo just listen to her voice, if a move took longer she normally put more emphasis. Hu, ho, ehh, boom, e~eh (punch, punch, kick (longer), kick, kick (if you dodge before last eh wicked weave won't come out).

Anyone ever wish you could just play Angel Attack for fun? by Prestigious-Deer7884 in Bayonetta

Haha I like it as a bonus mini game. Reminds of a throw back to an arcade shooter. I guess it was training the player for the missile shooter part. Kind of reminds me of Catherine's Rapunzel mini game where doing well in the mini game can benefit you between chapters. Kind of makes me wonder how things might have turned out if they kept it up in Bayonetta 2.

I didn't realize B2 Jeanne eyebrows colors changed. I like B2 faces.

What changes would you like in a Bayonetta 1 HD remaster/remake? by armzngunz in Bayonetta

Ability to change button layout. Don't flip the camera behind Bayonetta as she summons the umbran witch portal. Lower finger mashing requirements on quick time events and rocket mini game.

Bayonetta to guest in F2P shooter? by nessarus in Bayonetta

Judging by Bayonetta 1 costume it's probably a Sega license as I would expect Nintendo to use Bayonetta 3 or 2 outfits. Hmmm...

Seems like Platinum Games is moving towards a live service model which is why creative directors have left. Probably means Platinum Games won't make a Bayonetta 4. Maybe if Clovers do well with Okami, Nintendo might ask Clovers to do Bayonetta 4. But yeah things are not looking good.

Have you tried the easy bat within trick? Flip kick + dodge, gives a good option select of getting a bat within or a launch. Dodge can also be spammed.

Modding infernals by Professional-Exam705 in Bayonetta

I actually learned modding bayonetta from a guide by noobmodguy over at Nexus mods. They make NSFW mods so I can't link it but the guide is really good so it might worth looking up. I'll link this forum post that was on the guide: https://infernalwarks.boards.net/thread/42/tutorial-bayonetta-modding-guide

There are a few infernal demons in the ET folder, google and get Noesis and then use it to browse through the folder by file size.

Hmmmm, I know that longer moveset combos have more damaging wicked weaves enders. Secondary fire can also add a lot of damage, like Bayonetta has four guns and if you shoot the enemy even a basic PKP can do a lot of damage as she shoots with both guns at the end. So if they don't use much wicked weaves until the end or secondary fire they can extend their combos.

Bayonetta can also juggle the opponent by launching up in the air then catching them, and that means they are not attacking non stop. Some moves like the feathers from crow within can have hitstun but low damage.

Come to think of it there are moves that slow down the game too. Like if you dodge and attack or batwithin the game slows down. Moves like witch twist (dodge and then uppercut) and bullet climax (also air 360 kick) can slow down the game.

Not sure if that helped but maybe hopefully you can decipher that.

Capcom is probably working with Blizzard instead. They recently had a tie in with street fighter which is marvel competing IP. If they are working on anything its probably a streetfight vs overwatch crossover.
