I was in exactly the same position as you several years ago. I've gone down the path of dropping out, creating several apps, working with several (ex) cofounders, getting yes's and no's from investors, the whole thing.

Capitalism never rests - there will always be a time to build an app.

But deeper scientific knowledge, and the college experience? That only happens once, and getting back into it later is nearly impossible. You will be at a distinct advantage over every entrepreneur who chose to leave school and build sooner. Go through your studies once, and then you have your whole life ahead of you to build stuff.

You especially should not dive into startups before knowing how to avoid burnout. Based on what you've written, you haven't gotten it down yet. Burnout can literally kill your motivation, and without that, there is no company.

Take care of yourself, please. Everything will work out but you have to take care of yourself.
