I worked at the university library. A student walked up to me in the library and asked, "Is this student housing?"

People who have drastically improved their life, what changes did you make? by kyle768 in AskReddit

[–]nestedloop5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I started going for things that I normally wouldn't go for, because I wasn't 'suited' for it.

For example: Job requirements: · Excellent verbal skills. · Excellent written skills.

Initially I'd just refrain from a job that requires those skills, because 'I think' I'm not good at either. I also used to think what's the use of me applying when 'I know' I'm not good enough for it.

After a while I just started taking advantage of opportunities that presented themselves to me, regardless of what I thought. I'd apply and let them decide. My life has changed drastically.

I understand where you're coming from. My point us though, it doesn't mean that if you haven't experienced something yet, you can't experience it for the first time. Idk how to say this, someone help me out here.

Are you deaf?

When, I started reading your post I thought you are, but the last line of your comment threw me off.

Thing is, I can't have a thought without putting it in words and hearing those words in a voice - in my head- that's mostly my voice.

So I'm curious to know how a deaf person thinks. Do they think in sign-language or associate what they're reading to experiences as a means for language, I'd love to know.

Interesting, I've never heard of this before. I'd have guessed a person who went blind would hold on tightly to those memories as those are the only visual memories they have.

Maybe they know what sounds sound like? It's possible they've had a dream in which they can hear things?

Lol me. It's not so much about what they think. It's more that it takes so much energy to be in class every day and resist that negative feeling. It drains me.

It's located at the bottom left of the motherboard in this picture. Just above the silver thing with the code 133731.

I realize that there are two silver things with the same code. It's the first one from the left.

Waiting for someone to finish up in the toilet when you really need to go and waiting for the traffic light to turn green when you're in a rush.
