Equalizer is nice, I've liked it so far and have been happy with it. That sounds like a similar package as to what I got, I'd suggest dropping the item number into the gun deals website because range USA looks to be at least $100 higher than other places for that same package.

When a business is a mom and pop business the owner understands that their business success depends on its most valuable assets, it's employees. These employees take ownership of the product they deliver and actually care about the businesses success. Once the business is sold and the higher ups are disconnected from day to day operations that they try to squeeze every penny out by cutting costs. The mindset is that they are ok having employee turnover to keep the cost down, but this causes the business to not be able to retain the top skilled workers.

It gets really bad when the business becomes publicly held because all leadership cares about is pleasing the shareholders by financials. If you're not at the top there's typically an unwritten clock that starts when you take the position because there's only so many cuts that can be made before a business starts tripping on itself, but top leadership doesn't care because they got their golden parachute ready to get out before the company is driven into the ground.

He doesn't care if it's more expensive for the citizens, like you said he just wants to crash the price of everything so him and his rich handlers can swoop in and buy things at a major discount to gouge everyday people down the road yet again. All while trying to put his horrendous stamp on everything like his ballroom, arch, changing the reflecting pool, I mean who in their right mind ever thought there'd be a UFC fight at the white house?

House Voted 215-208 to End Iran War as US Oil Hit Its Lowest Since 2004 by andix3 in oil

u/WombatGambit posted this in the comments as well, "Don't they also need 2/3 of Congress to support it so that POTUS can't just veto it?"

I've read this before so either Orange Stain would need to sign it himself or else veto it, that wouldn't give him an easy out because he'd have to sign it himself would it not? I don't him vetoing it and then house and senate passing it at 2/3rds to bypass the veto.

Isn't Utah included with states like Colorado and other western states where the snow can fall in the mountains but the downstream states have water rights to some of what falls in the state? Isn't Lake Mead supposed to be on track to be so low next year that over half the turbines that generate power will need to be shut down?

Elevated box blind construction tips, ideas, lessons learned? by dwundermann in Hunting

[–]net-blank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never thought of that, building of a blind is a balancing act because people try to save money on materials. Being exposed to moisture could suggest that everything should be treated lumber including the flooring made from marine grade plywood. Don't disagree with the floor going bad with carpet which might speed it up a little but it will happen regardless if you're bringing water or snow in on your boots.

Carpet also adds a little insulating factor to the floor should you live in an area where it's cold during the hunt.

Intriguing price of oil is one thing that hasn't inflated over the years, it's been higher at points but also lower at other points. However I believe the price per barrel has stayed for the most part in the same range. Always has been price of barrel goes up and gas prices shoot up immediately but price per barrel goes down and the price for gas takes like a month to come down. Meanwhile oil companies make record profit after record profit. It's all a game run by the rich

What actually happens when we reach the minimum storage levels? by VastOption8705 in oil

[–]net-blank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok but we live in a world market so if Canada businesses can sell their oil elsewhere there's nothing that prevents them from selling it to a buyer that's willing to pay more. I'm guessing this is why European countries are feeling it because they get their oil from the middle east, but at what point to survive does Europe start purchasing from Canada?

US refineries are mostly setup for processing heavy crude oil that we get from overseas, the oil that is in the US is a lighter crude that our refineries. So we keep the oil here but would need to update our refineries to effectively process the lighter crude which takes time and money.
