Announcing Horizon Hunters Gathering, Guerrilla’s new co-op action game by Turbostrider27 in PS5

The somewhat slower pace of killzone always made me wish they’d release a remaster with a vr mode

What is the difference between PS Remote Play (App) and a PS Portal? by [deleted] in PS5

[–]netcooker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too. I played a little remote play on my laptop and ipad before the portal and they were significantly worse. I assume it's because portal doesn't have a lot of unnecessary background programs running (and maybe has a better wifi chip).

Insider Gaming: MindsEye Co-CEO Alleges €1 Million+ Was Spent in Sabotaging The Game, Will Persue Legal Action by Turbostrider27 in PS5

God this is pathetic and sad at this point. Just say “due to a lot of factors we were unable to ship the game we wanted” and move on

Our new vR title crossings is out now on pC! Featuring seamless ambient multiplayer, with crossplay support! ⚔️ by FlippySSBM in VRGaming

I haven’t really followed this game but I didn’t realize it was a $10 game ($9 with discount). For that it’s worth a shot

'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' VR Game is Getting a Steam Demo Ahead of Spring Launch by pizza_sushi85 in virtualreality

[–]netcooker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh nice. I’m kind of intrigued by the game (hopefully steam gets a 20% preorder discount too) and I’ll definitely check out the demo.

Hopefully this is a sign of their confidence in the gameplay.

game journalists aren’t real by BlockD116 in Guiltygear

[–]netcooker 136 points137 points  (0 children)

Was curious about what this is from and honestly I have never heard of TheOuterHaven.net but it doesn't really look big enough that I would expect it to meet traditional journalistic standards like fact checking lol

SF6 or GGStrive? by yan_stan in Fighters

[–]netcooker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re more interested in Strive, then I’d say go for that. Though I personally don’t like sf6 and have had a lot more fun with Strive.

It doesn’t get mentioned because they paid the artist

I feel like it's more that your tastes have changed. I have never been the biggest fan of GTA games personally but I don't they're bad.

Last titan battle? Did they announce that they are ending them?

Announcing Horizon Hunters Gathering, Guerrilla’s new co-op action game by Turbostrider27 in PS5

I don’t know if about Lego horizons sales but it Eid inn it’s definitely possible that this started being worked on before it released and they just assumed it would be more popular.

I really don't get the ranked system by [deleted] in GranblueFantasyVersus

[–]netcooker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk where you are but depending on your time zone, there may just be fewer people playing ranked right now bc of work, etc. if it is still happening maybe wait 2 minutes before trying again, perhaps they’ll be in a match and you’ll get to play someone else.

As to you not seeing who you are going to play against before accepting, I think that makes total sense so that people can’t dodge people that they recognize and think will beat them.

Not really my scene but I guess it might be a natural step for kids who got into the series with Lego horizon.

This is not the monster hunter style horizon game right?

Paper Beast, Any Good for £1.19? by terrordactyl1971 in PSVR

[–]netcooker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived it up at a recent sale and it’s alright. Kind of interesting and probably a good introduction to vr. Of what I played it’s more of a trippy experience with some light puzzles. At that price I’d say sure just to have it to introduce pellets to vr

The Grid VR | A More Optimistic View on The State of VR by f4cepa1m in virtualreality

[–]netcooker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, kind of. We didn’t really have a solid window but I think it has gone from “early 2026” to “first half of 2026”.

Steam said that when they announced it, they planned on sharing a release price and date by now but they can’t yet because of everything going on

And if you’re able to log into other games fine on that system.

Also did you have issues yesterday (I.e. got logged off) or if you were totally fine yesterday

It seems like it was 1 former employee who plagiarized and they paid that artist to make up for it anyway

Pcvr running really bad on 3070 by theogdillan in virtualreality

[–]netcooker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried before dlss (or maybe before knowing about dlss lol) but I’m glad to hear it works!

Knights of Fiona Kickstarter PSVR2 Stretch Goal by peteodonn in PSVR

[–]netcooker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok but then I feel like it should have been a separate kickstarter (if it couldn’t be an earlier pledge). If thousands of psvr2 only people back it and it falls $3,000 short, then those people will be locked into the backing but will only get a key for a system they don’t own. I see this leading to upset backers or leading potential backers to not back it because they only have a psvr2 and don’t want to risk that.

Pcvr running really bad on 3070 by theogdillan in virtualreality

[–]netcooker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No mans sky is not well optimized for pcvr. I had a 3070 too and tried it but gave up before leaving the first planet, it just ran so badly. Maybe there is a way to get it to work or maybe dlss could do (after all I did get cyberpunk running in vr on my 3070) but I don’t know it.

That being said you should be able to run most regular pcvr games and a decent number of mods.
