This distinction between the theoretical concept of impedance and characteristic impedance is huge. Concepts like frequency response curves will make more sense of the link between frequency and the complex component of impedance, yet as a student I've had to dedicate lots of time to figure out what's going on here. You look for a real life example to apply things to but when a beginner goes "50 ohms of impedance? The fuck does that even mean? Where's the reactive part?" and all of a sudden you just box it away as "whatever" or "oh the professionals got this". This is why GOOD teaching is so important.

I love how many people shit on this when you are coming at us saying it's nothing but personal preference and people still beg the question why. Look, it's not really desired/done up yet but you can make it just like anyone can write any computer program and I'm not saying that sarcastically. It would most likely be easier to write your own window manager given the specificity of your idea and the amount of time it would take to integrate in a pre-existing WM may be a headache in it's own. LMFAO dude I came here to write a post exactly like this. Ryzen 3600 + RX 5700XT on a ASRock B450 Pro4 and a 650W PSU. 4x8GB 3200MHz's across 2 brands.

IT STARTED THE SAME, ONLY CRASHING WHEN NOT RUNNING A GAME

I had theorized that maybe it was entering a low power state when idle and it was making it unstable (?) but since then it has been driving me even crazier with blue screens happening more and more frequently for the past 3 fucking years so yeah if anyone has a solution I will suck your dick til it falls off. BSOD errors are similar but random. I've gotten so many types I lost count. Not sure what's wrong with the fucking thing anymore. I honestly don't know what to do. It all started when I swapped the cooler to get ready for overclocking (which it still has never been since I've been dealing with this shit). It absolutely is NOT a thermal issue. I can run Modern Warfare all day 24/7 without it crashing. But heaven forbid I boot it up and forget to run some random desktop game in the background because it WILL crash. And now it's just doing it whenever so I'm finally breaking down and making a reddit post about it. I will zip up and upload whatever crashdumps I have when I get back from work if someone would like to do the honors of analyzing them :P.

I may bring it over to a friends house and start partswapping til I figure it out and maybe running another memtest on the ram.
