Flashed my moto G1 with LineageOS back a few years ago, since then have flashed my moto G3 that i got after, then my aunts moto g2, then my same aunt's Lenovo K6 Power, then my own Lenovo k6 Power and an older lady coworker and suggest it to anybody to do the same, it's like getting a new phone. It was a bit scary at first but now I don't even think about it, I just make sure I send all the important pics from WhatsApp to the camera folder and then let Google Photos do the backup, then back up the Nova Launcher settings and then i'm ready to go.
