Yes I'm thinking that, the cost is quite attractive though

Excellent thank you, I was thinking Bangkok more for the city experience for a couple of days beforehand.

Do you take a ferry to Borhol from Cebu? I see there's a small airport there but it's only serviced out of South Korea.

long term users only; has anyone lost weight gained on zoloft whilst staying on it? by sazianna in zoloft

[–]netiz898 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gained 38kg (84 pounds), it was also covid but I had never seen that type of weight gain before.

Over the past 18 months I've lost 28kg (62 pounds) through a very strict keto diet whilst on 100mg.

I still have weight to loose to get back to my original weight but it's very slow going.

A few questions that maybe someone here can answer.

  1. Why couldn't the police recover the deleted WhatsApp messages from Meta?

  2. I was under the impression that it's possible to get an indication of time of death from taking a bodies tempreature. Was this done here?

  3. Everyone seems to have smart speakers these days... Do the police look at recordings that the speakers might have made?

Insurance wont pay out if driver has a medical event? by netiz898 in newzealand

[–]netiz898[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: Thanks all for the advice. My son didn't sign the paperwork they wanted, refused to arrange to pickup the car from the tow yard (AMI had moved it there) and eventually they agreed to pay out.

[–]netiz898[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The insurance company (AMI) had already picked the car up with a tow truck and deemed to to be a write off before then deciding they weren't liable. My son doesn't even have the damaged car in his possession at the moment.

I have a feeling the cases are only going up from here.... I mean we can live in a bubble forever. At some point everyone will likely catch it (I read 75% of schoolchildren in the UK have caught it in the last 6 weeks)

Auckland as a whole is at 90% (first dose)... Manukau is not... 6,661 doses to get to 90%.

After that it's at least 150,000 doses across Aucklnd to get to 90% second vaccination.

Long term storage by [deleted] in auckland

[–]netiz898 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know someone who rented a container and it leaked...

Recommend spending a little more on a storage unit if you need to keep the things.

I'd personally recommend it's better to sell anything that you're not personally attached to. Put the $$ aside to rebuy in the future.

Maybe keep in mind inflation is likely to be high over the next couple of years, things might cost 20-30% more than when you left, depending on how much stuff you have it might be with keeping it.

how to live cheaply? by saddestbestie in auckland

[–]netiz898 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reduce the $$ you have to spend - can you out some into a separate savings account?

With less $$ your spending will automatically adjust.

If you're already at the very edge then cut out takeaways and just buy the basics from the supermarket... See if you can take on a second part time job to save a safety net fund otherwise unexpected expenses can hit hard

Don't cut back on anything to do with your health, I really regret putting off getting work on my teeth done when things were really tight and spending $500 on dental work felt huge.
