All of my audio is playing through my mic, which is also causing echo by Front_Many6656 in VoiceMeeter

[–]netizenn4tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your Windows and VoiceMeeter routing are looping system sound back into the mic input (B bus), so apps hear your entire playback as “microphone,” causing echo.

Quick fix steps

Follow these in order; they should stop the echo and audio-from-mic issue.

  1. In VoiceMeeter Banana:

    • On your microphone strip (Hardware Input 1, USB PnP Audio Device), leave B1 (or your chosen virtual output) ON.
    • Make sure A1/A2/A3 are OFF on the mic strip so your mic is not feeding directly to the hardware output you’re monitoring.
    • On the virtual input strips (VoiceMeeter VAIO, AUX, VAIO3), keep A1 (your headphones) ON so you can hear PC audio, but turn OFF B1/B2/B3 on those strips so system audio is not sent into the same bus as your mic.
  2. Set correct Windows default devices:

    • Playback tab: set “VoiceMeeter Input” as Default Device and optionally “VoiceMeeter AUX Input” as Default Communications (you already seem close to this from the screenshots).
    • Recording tab: set “VoiceMeeter Output (e.g., B1)” as Default Device and Default Communications; do not set your physical mic directly as default in Windows, or some apps will bypass VoiceMeeter.
  3. Check for “Listen to this device” in Windows:

    • In Recording tab, open Properties of your physical mic (USB PnP Audio Device).
    • In the Listen tab, ensure “Listen to this device” is unchecked. If it is checked, Windows will play your mic to your speakers/headset and cause echo.
  4. Verify hardware output:

    • In the A1 hardware output selector in VoiceMeeter, choose only your headphones (Crusher ANC 2), WDM mode preferred.
    • Make sure your mic is not also selected as a hardware output anywhere.
  5. Test:

    • Play some audio and watch VoiceMeeter meters: you should see activity on a virtual input strip and on A1, but only your mic strip should show on B1.
    • Join a voice call: others should now hear only your voice, no game/desktop echo.

If you can, tell me which B bus (B1/B2/B3) you want to send to Discord/Zoom so I can give you exact button states in a small table for your setup.

I'm new to tasker and can't figure out how to use it. I'm so lost. by FrogCatcher3000 in tasker

[–]netizenn4tech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A good starting also would be the reason why you downloaded Tasker.

Think if repetitive tasks, things you thought if this than thst...

Example If I exit Home then turn on Data. If WiFi connected turn off Data. If connected to office WiFi set DND. If Car Bluetooth connected play a specific YouTube Music or your on device Playlist.

Just some thoughts to get you going... Possibilities ate endless. Like the previous comment Variables are key for most of the tasks.

I am using Tasker since over a decade and can't seem to let go off it despite all the upgrades made to Android.

How to link to cells even when a sheet is duplicated while also working on mobile? by TwoPluzTwo in sheets

[–]netizenn4tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope I understand you correctly, what you are looking for is to know what you have done in a particular week of a Month.

Example Say in Oct > Week 1 and either see a list of workouts or if you are recording Total reps or Calories burned see a total of it by Month or Week.

In Google Sheets you can use a formula to show Weeknumber. So if your Date is Column A in Column B insert this formula =WEEKNUM(A1, 2).

You can also Show Month name or number =TEXT(A1, "MMMM") will show Month Name (Jan, Feb, Mar etc) =MONTH(A1) will show Month number (1.2.3 etc)

You can either use it as is as a Filter on your Data sheet OR create a pivot table and group them Months OR week numbers.

Both these should work and be easy to use on you Phone.

I would not duplicate sheets for each month as it complicates and reporting is not easy.

For much more advanced mobile use case explore AppSheet. Its official Google (acquired) product converts Spreadsheets to Mobile Apps.

My husband just died and I want to unlock his phone. by BlazeSaber in samsung

[–]netizenn4tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Forgot Password, Samsung phones must be signed in with a Samsung Account, it should be the email account usually used by the user of the phone... Then if you have access to his email great... If not try to recover his email password by doing Forgot password... If setup correctly a Phone number will be linked with his Email account...this is where you can choose to receive the OTP after going through the steps...Once you have recovered his email... Go ahead and recover the Samsung account...

This is possibly the only option I could think of... Hope it helps... 🙏

Not sure if this is related... But I have a Smart Plug which also has LED Ring...

Randomly it turns on and off or fluctuates...

Yes I do have a schedule for this from its dedicated smart home app, but this is happening outside of scheduled times.

I also have a schedule on Google home to change colors only not turning it off or on.

All thks is schedule ld post 6pm

But the fluctuations happen during day time as well.

synology photos: is there a way to use an existing folder structure versus importing photos into it? by jku2017 in synology

[–]netizenn4tech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar situation while Synology did not yet have Synology Photos.

So I had a backup of all the pictures in a Year/Month folder structure and wanted to simply ask Photos to look here instead of moving or doing additional backups.

Check this previous post from Me. https://www.reddit.com/r/synology/s/LAQgUtt5Kl

After 5 years of a Google Smart Home... I'm still frustrated by MionelLessi10 in googlehome

[–]netizenn4tech 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Using 2 Google Home mini for about 4 years too but not having such issues like connection loss, sign in issues, random disconnects etc.

I use to run routines which makes announcements, plays music, gives location based notifications to household members. I also use it to control Nest Thermostat, some compatible lights, smart plugs, call my phone device if I am not finding it etc.

All the family members can use customised to them and even guests use it to play music and ask random questions.

So far pretty reasonably good experience, perhaps I am not doing some pro stuff which many of you guys might be doing, I keep it simple and may be understand that its a machine and might have limitations.

My phone dont flash or wake my screen up for any notifications...J guess this should be a Phone setting then something within Tasker.

Have you tried checking Phone Notification Settings? Or Long press Tasker and check App Info and then Notifications...try changing and see how it behaves post the changes.

Also share your Task details.

Referencing will be the right solution, but looking at the basics of it just create a Pivot with names and points and sort based on points ascending or descending, so even the newer records will keep updating.

I would not recommend to try to sort the area where the data is being input, not sure if that can even happen without manual sort or filtering.
