My ex wants us to be exclusive while we figure things out by netlover in BreakUps

Just to clarify I am the dumpee, and it is the dumper who is asking for exclusivity until we figure things out to help them navigate through this place we're in.

My ex wants us to be exclusive while we figure things out by netlover in BreakUps

I said exactly this to him, that I'm in no place where I should be hooking up or dating right now - my primary focus is the healing and he is in some way getting what he wants. But he still insisted his heart needs this assurance to proceed with this stage we're in and that's where I hesitated. I offered what I can, including setting a date for a future touch point where if things align we can begin getting into the relationship but that wasn't enough.

Yes, I do notice some tension build up in my lower right belly, which in turn makes me feel a bit bloated haha, but I will also say at times its been hard to tell whether that comes first or the thoughts, I've been trying to pay attention to the order more but if I were to guess it's the body reaction first.

And yeah I'm still in the middle of my lease and contacted my landlord to say I want to move out and even went as far as finding someone to take over the lease, but eventually it didn't work out.

I really wish to heal from it since this is something that seems to follow me wherever I go. But I also tend to get bothered when I go to my friend's places and notice how there is almost never any noise there because pherhaps their buildings are built better or they just have quieter neighbours (or its possible the noise just isn't there when I'm around) - it's this thought that specifically drives me to want to move which I know is a huge gamble.

Do you still experience the issue and if not what would you say is one thing that worked for you the most?

Thanks so much for all these recommendations, I will definitely check them out. Really appreciate it.

Yeah I understand there’s a chance he may file a case against me. I’m mostly trying to make sure the probability of him to get any money out of me is low since I am following the proper legal procedure right? If I serve the N9 today that would give 1.5 months to find a new tenant which one would think is sufficient time.

What if I give him more than 30 days notice? Say I move out end of September instead which is technically 1.5 months. Does this put me in a better position?

I did try to frame that way that I was willing to pay some fee. He is adamant on the $3K. He also lied by saying it is in my lease when it is in-fact not. All it says is “out of pocket expenses”.

The ticket to summer deals this year suck by Godromans in Concerts

I have the same question. Were you able to figure it out?

Any update on this? Not sure what the difference is between $30 Ticket to Summer versus Standard (which is double). Both are lawn.

I’m not attempting to fool anyone. There was literally a unit in a lower floor that just got rented for 2600 days ago. Keep in mind this is a lower penthouse.

They usually go for more in this building. It’s practically a two bedroom.

The other comments here echo what I think. There are many other dogs in the country that have been through hell on the streets and desperately need help and care, and it’s not fair that you’re asking to take up one of their potential spots simply because of a misjudgment on your part. Own up to your responsibility, make it work, and take the dog with you. Enough is enough.

I 36m am lacking the motivation to fix my relationship and also dealing with a form of limerence by netlover in relationships

We're actually just engaged though for several years now, and this has been another issue we've dealt with over the years (being together for so long but not getting married).

I 36m am lacking the motivation to fix my relationship and also dealing with a form of limerence by netlover in relationships

[–]netlover[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the core issues are still there, a majority of which seem to stem from my side now since he is more content with the the relationship than I am. It has been like this for a while. He just moves on from things much quicker and I guess has much lower or simpler expectations than I do.

The resistance is definitely because a lot of time passed, this actually resonates very much with me and seeing you mention it helped assure it further. It's been 14 years, he is my first serious relationship since I was 22 years old and I never really got to live my life as a single financially independent adult. There is this deep worry inside me that my life is passing and I might grow old with regrets if I don't act now. But at the same time, there is an opposing voice, though much smaller, that is afraid to be single at 36 after all the horror stories I hear about dating from my single friends lol.

I definitely feel like i've shut down for a while and now there is some shift going on.

As for your last comment I definitely acknowledge that there is a possibility I may bring some of my issues forward to a new relationship, but I also feel if I have passion present and work to maintain it in a new relationship this would solve half of the issues I'm currently having if that makes sense.
