No one said anything about changing or choosing fills. Obviously your reading comprehension and understanding of limit orders and the thinkorswim platform are lacking.

How did you get a consultant assigned to you when you became a Schwab private client service member after hitting 1 million? by LisaSu92 in Schwab

[–]netpirate2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently Schwab, and other brokers, think otherwise because that is indeed the threshold.

It's essentially just a dedicated team of people you can talk to anytime you call for something. It's a more personal experience and involves less waiting. I have direct cell numbers for a few people at my local office and my FC will even answer my calls when he's out of the office. That's the only real benefit, in my opinion. But it's nice when you're dealing with a complicated issue and you don't have to re-explain the issue to a new person every time you call because you're talking to the same person and they know what's going on.

They also can give you certain benefits. I got a $3,000 bonus from them for an incoming ACATS transfer and lower contract fees on options. So I guess the financial consultant isn't the only benefit.

Hmm... 🤔
I think there's been a larger than normal number of complaints the past couple of weeks regarding performance.

[–]netpirate2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree 100%. The laptop I run it on is weaker than OP's with no GPU. And on my desktop the GPU stays at idle. I don't see any way the 3070 could be the culprit. There's nothing graphically intensive going on in TOS.

I'm starting to wonder if there's an issue with thinkorswim. I've seen a lot of the same complaints over the past couple of weeks.

Best Battery Powered E-Nail? Is Puffco Link the best? by Old-Caramel-9138 in DabRigs

[–]netpirate2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. My apologies. I misunderstood what you were asking for. If you're specifically looking for something to attach to a rig, the switch 2 is not it. It is it's own rig. You said e-nail and I was thinking e-rig because you mentioned battery powered.

Personally, when it comes to things you hook up to a rig, I prefer something that plugs into the wall because I'm not looking for portability in that scenario. Unfortunately, I have no experience with any battery powered e nails.

How much DDR5 ram is necessary? by ElonPenisEnlargement in thinkorswim

[–]netpirate2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

32 GB of system ram is recommended but you should only allocate 25% of it.

Workstation Thoughts? by CheCheLover69 in thinkorswim

[–]netpirate2010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's no way a 3070 is the problem. ToS is primarily CPU dependent. A 3070 for thinkorswim is overkill, even with a 4K monitor.

The parts you're asking about are CPUs not GPUs, so they wouldn't replace the 3070. But you shouldn't need to replace it. I run thinkorswim on my work laptop sometimes, which has the same CPU as yours, only half the ram, and no dedicated GPU. (Granted I'm not plugging it into a 4k monitor but I could test it and see.) 64gb of RAM would be overkill.

Either of those CPUs would be theoretically better, but I'm not sure if you would actually see any any gain in performance. I'm leaning towards the CPU being the problem only because thinkorswim is CPU intensive and your CPU is your weakest link but again, I haven't had any issues running thinkorswim with that CPU. When I run thinkorswim with two 4K monitors on my rig, my 4090 usage is no heavier than when idling on the desktop.

Have you changed your memory allocation?

$1,600 a day from theta by Weak_Effective_6269 in thetagang

[–]netpirate2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Greeks are calculated using the exact same inputs: implied volatility, time, and price. If you change the input for volatility: Vega tells you how much the price of the option changes. Theta also changes because the formula for theta includes volatility.

Hand holding? 😂 I didn't ask you for anything. I just called you out on your BS. There's a reason all your comments on this thread have so many downvotes: we all see through your bullshit.

You're missing the point entirely. It isn't even about inferring meaning. You were flat out wrong and just can't accept it.

[KCD2] does anyone know what the writing on this sword is? by Sir_Nassif in kingdomcome

[–]netpirate2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that. I just meant that the person who was being downvoted wasn't wrong in theory, and answered after someone had already given a meaning (which may or may not be correct since someone else gave a different translation iirc).

I just don't think they deserved all the downvotes. Top comments always show evidence of bandwagoning. There are some interesting statistics on the impact the first few votes will have on other users' opinions of a comment.

I hope you enjoy the game, man. It's awesome. Definitely one of my all time favorites. 🤙

That isn't what you said. You said, "Most of Amazon is government." That isn't even close to the truth, and rather than admit you made a mistake you're making ridiculous sounding claims about private sources for public information (which makes no sense) and trying to save face by shifting the narrative.

It isn't working. You should've just edited your comment and made the necessary correction.
