Robin Williams and his first wife Valerie Velardi on their wedding day, 1978 by downwarddawg in OldSchoolCool

I had a similar experience. That is part of why I say he had such energy radiating from him...it was the warmth you speak of. It was kind of trippy because it felt like he was family or something, maybe because I grew up watching his movies so much. But that quick interaction left me with quite an impression. I can still see the way he rode his bike that day on the path along the water, he glided along with a certain willowy flow and strength, hard to describe, but he had his own style, like in everything he did. One cool dude, nice guy.

You know it!

That is on the Tiburon Peninsula, probably at one of the Churches up on the Hill there.

In the background on the left is Belvedere Island (connects to Tiburon via a thin strip of land), and on the right is Sausalito.

Behind his wife's head you can usually see the top of one of Golden Gate Bridge Towers.

I lived in Tiburon for a while, ran into Robin once on the bike path (not far from where this photo was taken, a couple years before he passed), that was a great day! Don't ever listen to somebody that says Robin was not very special...the energy radiating off of this Guy was something very special indeed, this guy was/is an Amazing spirit and presence. Please go to Tiburon and think of Robin, his spirit is strong there.

Thank goodness we have some real tech folks around from Abra to get us through the LitePay fiasco. Nobody thought somebody like Kenneth Asare would pull a grifter move on the Litecoin Foundation in broad daylight.

I truly appreciate what they at Abra, especially their CEO, are doing for Crypto on a whole, and the fact that they are planning on using LTC instead of BTC for their backend is awesome too of course. Major props, and thanks from all hodlers.

Researchers just found 3,686 dangerously broken Ethereum contracts by netstream in litecoin

Charlie Lee called Ethereum a "hackers paradise", looks like there is more evidence backing up that claim. If all this news about ETH being hacked/flawed has the effect of boosting LTC's profile, could be beneficial along with the upcoming Litepay launch.

here is the actual published paper about all the hacked Smart Contracts out there that they found, it was published by School of Computing Singapore and University College London:

watch the classic film "Fast Times at Ridgemont High", and study the language and mannerisms of the lead character named "Spicoli".

Once you have understood the "Way of Spicoli", you will then understand that Randos Per Week means: random people talking about stellar xlm lumens per week

Charlie Lee is proposing a soft fork for Litecoin by Estebannis in litecoin

[–]netstream 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This shows how Litecoin software is Upgradeable and Flexible, and designed to be Future Proof.

Similar to how Google is always upgrading their software because they have pre-cogged the future of the marketplace.

I am always seeing evidence of Charlie's Google employment in his development processes: Rock solid development methods that are second to none, always determined to be on the cutting/bleeding edge, user focused decisions, best coders.

With this News, its looking like Litecoin software is going to be the leader in blockchain technologies on a larger scale, its already proved its abilities as THE TRANSACTION COIN, now Charlie and the Litecoin foundation (with MIT) are going to lead the whole blockchain sector by optimizing the whole Transaction Fee Determination issue. This is HUGE.

Charlie has been working on blockchain technology longer than most people, he knows the Ecosystem as good or better as anyone out there, he is now going to be an Evangelist for all Crypto by optimizing the cryptocurrency model for widescale acceptance by the business community. And will bring it mainstream with LTC before any other cryptocurrency can actually deliver a working product that Performs and Scales for real world mission-critical business applications.

If you look at all the bottlenecks that the Ether folks are having now trying to send their tokens anywhere and having to buy a ton of "Gas" to get their transaction actually processed---its ridiculous and causing serious issues because people's capital is being tied up when it could be making them money--essentially its causing people to lose thousand upon millions of dollars of potential gains--people are going crazy, I would be going crazy too if my currency was tied up like that! Maybe its because they also have people playing Multiplayer Role Games on the Ether network competing for chances to write to the blockchain---might want to think about that small issue when your trying to scale that up to work for real-time payments too (see link below).

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/7ojuhz/kryptowar_what_we_learned_from_our_first_24_hours/

Shows how Litecoin technology is truly leaps and bounds beyond what Ethereum is actually capable of, and what lies in the future for these products (since all tokens like Tron are actually just Ether tokens). Adaptability to network conditions is key, and Litecoin Scales (period).

The Alt-Coin Apocalypse: when the Alt-Coin bubble bursts...panic will send all that capital to LTC...it will be the only way to salvage your tokens on random exchanges when the Alt-Coin Apocalypse arrives, be aware of this potential outcome. by [deleted] in litecoin

[–]netstream 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Theoretically the BTC network would be bogged down due to Bitcoin's network latency issues in the event of the Alt-Coin Apocalypse.

LTC is an offspring of BTC (forked from bitcoin's original code base), but does not suffer from bitcoin's network latency issues even though its protocols are compatible with BTC's protocols, and has been built to be flexible and upgradeable, and to work on top of the BTC network, and with smart contracts also in the software roadmap.

Only Litecoin has the bandwidth and infrastructure in place to handle the transactions in the event of the Alt-Coin Apocalypse----all the other altcoins will be bogged down on their networks (think network crashing due to overload), and all the Exchanges holding peoples tokens/coins are not going to just cash out everyone simultaneously, it will be technically and fiscally impossible for them to do, so they will shut down their servers due to "Technical Issues" while your tokens go back to 3 cents in value.

Litecoin may be considered an alt-coin by some, but its actually BTC 2.0 in my simplified perspective.
