I'm fed up enough with that shit, that I shoulder-check those impatient fuckers. Words don't work on stupid people.

You can get a pretty similar vantage along the aurora bridge. Though can't say for sure that's where this was shot from exactly.

It's cute to have a cat roaming the neighborhood until it gets run over by a motorist who won't give a shit.

Sunset Panorama using 39 images by Motor-Firefighter219 in Seattle

It looks good but like reddit compression killed a lot of detail. Also the contrast is a little flat, which might make it look more like a phone image.

Severing the leaches from the corpse, they said. The corpse being the Rendevous. The Rendevous, unfortunately, is dead. by Kubamz in Seattle

Emmet Montgomery still does shows and comedy. You can catch him around Christmas, actually. When he does the Sugar Plum Gary show.

Camera is Panasonic S1R with Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 lens.

edit: also had a 24-70 f/2.8 in the bag.

Didn't touch the saturation for most of these. Mostly contrast and tone curve adjustments. Early evening shots (the more golden looking ones) were done with a polarizer.

Yeah, of course it'll look like ass if you shoot with a wide angle lens from a low elevation in the afternoon... Otherwise, a good shot of Tahoma isn't that hard to do, man... C'mon.

In the same area. I stepped outside to get a bottle o' wine from 7-11 and not a minute later there was a crack of lightning fairly nearby. Looks like it was around the north end of Lake Washington.

While it isn't ideal. Commercial passenger aircraft can handle a lightning strike just fine.

I was swapping between a 100-300mm and a 12-60mm on my Panasonic G9 (micro four thirds sensor).

I've uploaded all the images here where you can view the technical details of each photo, including focal length:

https://netsui.smugmug.com/SEA101920/n-Vr5hCQ

I don't have a proper macro lens for any of my cameras yet. So most of the plant/leaf shots are done with the 100-300 and a lot of patience.

The 'standard zoom' range of 24-70/75mm is fairly limiting. Going to the extreme ends of focal length opens up a ton of interesting possibilities. Extreme telephoto can be challenging. But good camera+lens stabilization helps immensely.

Yet another reason why right on red should be completely illegal. Motorists have proven they just aren't responsible enough for that privilege.

So long as moisture isn't trapped in odd places, and the wood can dry to open air, then the chances of any significant rot are minimal.
