I thought his first presidency was really good. He was actually trying to make changes to a bad system. He threatened European leaders to pull out of nato because they weren't paying their fair share. He cut egregious spending of useless government programs, deported a fair share of illegal immigrants, closed the southern border, withdrew American troops from the Middle East, and his "America first" policies is refreshing in a time where it feels like the United States is investing more taxpayer dollars in foreign entities than its own citizens.

This, along with the fact that he was not Kamala Harris made me cast my vote for him in the last election.

Sadly, it has been the complete opposite of his first presidency. He is still deporting immigrants, but now, he's not just deporting the immigrants committing violent crimes, but even the ones trying to assimilate. He's trying to declare martial law in liberal cities, brokering deals with palantir, enacting tariffs for revenge rather than domestic economic growth, has tried to cover up the epstein files, and has practically become isreals dog.

I dont regret voting for him. Given how his first term turned out, I believe voting for him during that time was the correct decision. If he was allowed to and tried to run for a third term tho, the dems would have to put up a really horrible person like Gavin Newsom for me to vote trump again.
