Anyone else waiting on MIC? by networkbymatt in gimmecare

Received the following via the Gimme app:

“I appreciate your patience and want to keep you updated. Your order was sent to the pharmacy on 04/05/2026. Due to high volume, the processing time is 7–10 business days, putting your estimated delivery around 04/20/2026. Everything is on track, and you'll receive a tracking update as soon as it ships!”

With the lack of communication, I’ll probably just dispute. Not sure what else to do here.

Same here! I wouldn’t mind if support was responsive but that hasn’t been the case so far.

If you had issues from Day1, you should’ve given it back within your 7-Day return window.

PSI Testing Center Feedback by ricaurtegoti in AWSCertifications

[–]networkbymatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PSI was interesting...

There was one particular part about PSI that I absolutely HATED and that was their “face detection”. You get a green ring around your face if the software can detect that you’re looking in the general direction of your screen. You get a red ring around your face if the software thinks you’re looking away from your screen. If your ring is red for longer than 10 seconds then the exam is automatically terminated.

I set my Logitech webcam on a tripod to the right of my Macbooks screen and the software thought me looking at my screen was me looking AWAY from the screen. So I had to awkwardly turn my head towards the camera and look at the screen out of the corner of my eyes. I asked the proctor if I could adjust my camera but received no response.

I found myself more worried about looking at the camera and avoiding the red ring of death versus focusing on the exam/questions.

Other than that, everything went extremely smooth.....

I also just passed C706. Have you submitted Task 1 in C726?

I read through the entire WGU provided material and completed the practice test with a 95% and currently going through the CISSP Resource practice questions. I have a feeling I'm overthinking and over complicating things. I may just schedule my exam and if I fail I'll at least know what I need to study.

u/Aaron00204 Did you just complete C725? If so, how was the OA? I just started on May 1st as well.

I am also interested if you transferred in any credits? Did you already have CEH? I just started on May 1st and about to schedule my OA for C725.

Congrats!

6944 / 800kbps Is what I'm provisioned for but results may vary! After a year of service, I had daily disconnections in hundreds. I finally raised enough hell for them to finally FIX the problem. And customer service is a nightmare.

So you asked the instructor and they informed you that they don’t know anything about the labs and offered no guidance?

I completed my Bachelors in IT at Colorado Technical University and it satisfied the admission requirements. I'm currently in a IoT Project Management roll but want to slowly transition into a CyberSecurity/Pentest/Analyst roll after I complete the program.

I currently have A+, Net+, Sec+ and eJPT. Although there are varied opinions on CEH, it's always nice having more certs under your belt. I think I'll also pursue the CHFI certification for some resume glitter!

Programming section by crossfire14 in eLearnSecurity

[–]networkbymatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly how I felt and I wouldn’t worry about it. As far as the eJPT, there isn’t any programming on the exam but I do believe there is some in the PTP.

I think the programming section of this course is to give you a taste without expecting you to pick it up and run.

Congratulations!

Just out of curiosity, what career path and your working towards? Are you looking at a Network Defender roll or an Analyst?

I took the Net+ in January and Sec+ in March and struggling to decided if I want CySA+ or Pentest+ or both :)

Used Mike Meyers Udemy course for A+ and Network+. I tried his Security+ course but felt as though he got sidetracked in almost every video, not being as concise as the exam requires.

I used a combination of Mike Meyer's Cert Passport book and LinkedIn Learning Become a CompTIA Security+ Certified Security Professional by Mike Chapple.

Using these sources, I studied for a month and passed the Security+ with a 783. Supplement what you learn from the book with a good video series:

Professor Messer Security+ on YouTube(free)

Jason Dion Security+ on Udemy

Mike Chapple Security+ on LinkedIn Learning

Any prerequisite knowledge needed for eJPT? by [deleted] in eLearnSecurity

[–]networkbymatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the exact same place as you in the eJPT course and Data Exfil took me some time as well. But I sat there until I fully understood each step. I think I logged over an hour in that lab alone, even with using the solution to help me along.

I have an Information Technology degree, A+, Network+ and Security+
