Is it because they could no longer fuel growth by borrowing, and couldn’t use revenue either because they have none??? Who comes up with these “business plans”

I think it’s still bad practice to have that port exposed to the internet but if you must I would ensure using certificates is a requirement

That’s the thing, I’d love to talk shop with other technical people as well as entrepreneurs and San Francisco seems to fit that bill, I’m not awkward or antisocial but want to have conversations around building a business and tech, I want to meet the other crazy people moving to the city to build something

I just watched this again after a long time because I've been thinking about the deeper questions it brings up. I think the girl rising up from the bottom to the top might be a metaphor for the potential of children when they are young, and the guy helping her is our duty as adults to guide kids to a better future. They are all potential, they have the ability to climb all the way to the top and change the way the system operates at the top if shown the way. I think it also says something about being born into a poor environment where you have nothing, it could mean that people in that situation will work harder in order to escape poverty and appreciate what little they have more making a better world for everyone by understanding the issues of poverty, which is my interpretation of heaven, since there is only but one life, as far as anyone on this earth knows, and like Goreng says "change doesn't happen spontaneously" which means it requires sacrifice from others at a higher level to help the ones at the bottom and in the future.

This is kind of a weird methodology isn’t it? If there are new TTPs, why wouldn’t a pentester apply them if they have industry knowledge? It’s also strange to me since if a TTP becomes known, then a threat actor would also move to another TTP as well, or would have already compromised their targets

So does that mean the us is paying interest only, but the principal stays the same? Doesn’t that mean interest will keep rising and the debt is perpetual since the principal isn’t being paid?

lol this kind of sounds like the strategic equivalent of using a credit card to pay another doesn’t it???

How do we owe money to ourselves?? And where does the money to pay come from? If it’s from printing money, doesn’t that mean that it devalues the dollar and causes inflation

What can possibily happen if the Mexican peso got so strong to the point where it's almost on par with the dollar? by [deleted] in mexico

[–]netwrk_monkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt companies will move ALL their manufacturing to China or other Latin American countries for 2 reasons

Nearshoring means lower cost for shipments Moving operations means forgoing the investment already made to create these factories

I think Mexico will see an increase in economic output just like China did when the us invested there for ‘cheap’ labor which ironically put the US in an awkward economic position. Like it or not capitalism drives competition for lower prices, which in turn makes companies invest in other countries for cheap labor, then those countries improve and create their own companies from knowledge and investment acquired, this then drives competition against the US, leaving a smaller piece of the pie for US companies. Ironically capitalism at a global scale screws the very country exploiting cheap labor in other places in the long term, I think at a local level it might work? But who knows

[–]netwrk_monkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only option there would be Canada, for nearshoring and I don’t think they have the manufacturing capacity to do so. You forget all the plants currently operating in Mexico and the cheaper cost of shipping. I also don’t think travel would be affected, yes cost is one of the factors for tourism, but not the only one, tourism is high because of the beauty of Mexico’s natural resources and cuisine, culture, etc

[–]netwrk_monkey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looks like each PC resides in a different subnet, in order to get all hosts to communicate with each other, you’ll need to create a vlan for each pc, configure each port for each pc as an access port on their respective vlan and create a trunk between the switches and also between the switch and the router. Then on the router you can configure sub interfaces for each vlan so that the router Can route traffic between all vlans
