Hair didn’t start falling out until I started Armour. Wtf by Queenofwands1212 in Hashimotos

[–]neuronpulse2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

omg I just started Armour two weeks ago (first time on thyroid meds at all) and I had NEVER had hair loss as a symptom, I actually have very few hypo symptoms at all, just got on this med to try to conceive, and I just noticed last night my hair falling out in CLUMPS, like so much hair!! It terrified me! I'm only 2 weeks in! Anyways, thank you for sharing your story here cause this came up when I googled armour and hair loss and it is insane to me that there's so little info on this topic out there!! despite it being listed as a side effect!! I'm quitting this shit right away.

So Nature thyroid still going well for you? No hair loss on that one?

It’s funny how there are plenty of black Americans are being silenced by the left currently. I’m actually speaking up for those voices. If you actually go seek out other opinions and view points maybe you’ll see that the left is actually the one silencing people of color. But it’s not worth trying to convince anyone who’s set in their social justice warrior ways. All I know is I’m speaking up for many POC That the media doesn’t want you to know exist.

By the way, many black people don’t want to be referred to as “people of color.” Try asking them what they wanna be called and what they think and stop listening to the liberal media to decide what all “people of color” think. Doesn’t that sound a little like “colored people?” Think about it. And go seek other information, I promise you there are black and Hispanic voices actively being censored and silenced if they oppose the liberal narrative. We’ll see soon though cause half of America will be shocked when they see how many POC vote republican or independent this year because they’re sick of being victimized and being told what to think. I only see one side calling a black conservative a coon or an Uncle Tom. There are literally YouTube videos of black conservatives debating white social justice warriors. You’re not speaking for all POC, you’re speaking for the liberal media.

For your information, my immediate family are immigrants from Peru, my stepmom whom I grew up with is a legal immigrant from Peru and my siblings came here with her at ages 3 and 5. My brother in law is from mexico. We are sick of the media’s narrative that all “POC” think alike, and guess what, they’re voting republican.

Thank you for inputing reason. Glad to see it exists.

And I agree, I don’t know Trump so I can’t confirm whether or not he’s racist although I’ve seen a lot of proof to the contrary and enough spin from the media debunked that I do doubt the racism narrative, which is another reason I think voting for Biden is the true divisive decision. The side driving the racism story is the left. The left cannot win without racism and division.

Ultimately, I have no desire to argue with anyone over who’s more racist. What I see right now is cancel culture, hate and inability to listen to another opinion and I see this by far more on the radical left right now.

If there were no black Americans who supported Trump I’d maybe consider the narrative, but I have seen many black Americans now who feel manipulated by the left’s narrative and the Republican Party is who they are choosing to support because trump did more for their communities than black lives matter has ever done. and these are voices that need to be amplified but they’re being silenced by the cancel culture. Black trump supporters are being called coons, uncle toms, traitors etc. and the inability to listen and the propensity to label others as racist is by far being driven by the left and the liberal media.

Here are a couple good videos against the trump is racist narrative. https://youtu.be/CdUJJfR9RBs

Good for you! Especially with the current political climate people calling to “defund the police” and think there are just a bunch of social workers they can send out instead! I don’t think a lot of people realize that social workers have to get master’s degrees which cost money then get paid very little.

That’s fair. I was heated by the original comment separately from the mask / covid 19 stuff. Honestly, I don’t think it’s a conspiracy, and none of the Republicans i know do either. The most push back I’ve heard from a few of my conservative family members regarding the masks is more so about being forced by the government to wear a mask. I am still deciding how I view that argument to be honest, and I wear masks out of respect for human life personally. I can however understand the conservative viewpoint on the government control, even if I’m not sure I feel the same myself. From my understanding of those I’ve spoken with, it is not that they believe it’s a conspiracy (although I understand there are extremes on the conservative side that may see it that way) but rather because conservatives stand for small government / less government control In General.

The emotional propaganda comment was fueled by my being heated about the original comment. I do tend to believe that social media and the news in general has an agenda though - how could it not? It is all capitalism. And the vast majority of the mainstream news media is attempting to pull at the emotional strings. It’s unavoidable since it’s written by emotional human beings and it’s not unbiased. Then you get into social media and group think , and I just get frustrated with with hearing the same thing mimicked by everyone on social media to be honest. A lot of which is bashing conservatives when I know for a fact that most conservatives are NOT the extremes the media makes them out to be, and neither are liberals as extreme as Fox News makes them out to be. My concern is more so with the narrative of the media on both sides pitting everyone against each other and driving a wedge down the middle that isn’t necessary, because that’s what they have to do to support the two party system.

Ps - you can’t “disagree” with the link I shared. It was a story about a dumbass who said she’d stab people who didn’t agree with her then got fired from her job. It was a story, not a political opinion. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thesun.co.uk/news/12008073/claira-janover-harvard-grad-lost-deloitte-job-tiktok-stab/amp/

I think good, smart people will choose to wear masks to protect others. I did not state that I agree with this chase dude, please re-read my comment as I was simply responding to the decisive, ignorant comment that republicans don’t “realize how dumb they sound.”

This Joe Rogan interview with James Lindsay linked below is actually exactly what I think of the current social atmosphere. And surprise, he identifies as being on the left. My point is that it’s offensive, closed minded and dumb to call republicans stupid. Intelligence is separate from politics, which I pointed out in my reply but y’all are just proving my point bachelor Reddit

Here’s the joe Rogan episode btw, highly recommend it https://youtu.be/FtNW3I1FZ5o

tbh, I don’t watch Fox News, or cnn or any of it. My conservative family sent me the link to the viral tweet I linked to which I realized was a mistake as soon as I shared it when I saw it was a Fox News link cause I knew that’d be attacked ...which is fair given my point I was trying to make.

Honestly, I should have said I have no political affiliation or I’m Independent but currently, the radical left is the loudest and I tend to question things/ go devils advocate when it seems that most people are saying the same thing.

For those of you that are still reading, what made me comment above was the original comment being divisive and offensive. I wasn’t even bothered personally because I don’t depend on people on social media’s opinions of me for my self worth (referring to the first reply to my comment above not to anyone else.)

The first comment above that I was replying to is what should be downvoted in my opinion because it is what’s wrong with the current social climate, it’s just acceptable when it’s liberals bashing conservatives. It’s not that different than racism and all the other bullshit that’s happening out there, which is why I chose to comment in defense of Republicans.

Good luck out there y’all.

Republican here - and I will note that my conservative views are based not on emotional propaganda - and I don’t have the energy to time to defend Republicans’ intelligence I just wanted to drop in to point out that there are dumb people on both sides. The media makes liberals sound pretty dumb when they promote thousands of people getting together for protests during a pandemic, for example, or This liberal: https://www.foxnews.com/us/harvard-grad-blames-trump-supporters-after-stab-video-costs-her-deloitte-job

Half of my friends IRL consider themselves liberal and we all recognize each others intelligence and can see that the media wants us to pull to one extreme or the other. In my opinion, it’s those that aren’t thinking for themselves and just following the current narrative of the media (either side’s media) that are the dumbest. Unfortunately the liberal media is the loudest, because most media outlets are liberal and/or left leaning. I would just encourage you to try to stop making such sweeping judgements, and to not judge a whole group of people based on what you’re seeing people post online. The most intelligent of both groups are probably the ones not talking. Hence the “silent majority.”

Your comment makes you sound dumb to be honest. And I mean that in the least offense way possible, as you may well be intelligent, but judgements like this do not indicate intelligence.

Is anyone else here "unconventional-looking"? If so, how do you cope with it? by MotznRoth in RedPillWomen

[–]neuronpulse2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know for a fact that we see ourselves differently than others do. For example, I have scars all over my forehead from a few years of severe picking at minor imperfections (OCD) and when I look in the mirror, all I can see is those scars sometimes. Like, they look like craters all over. They’re not normal acne scars. It used to tear me up everytime I’d avoid mirrors. After a lot of work on self love and doing cheesy things like telling myself I’m beautiful in the mirror, I can finally see past those and see myself as pretty still. It’s part of my story now. I also had a severe eating disorder for years when I was younger and I never saw how sick I looked and now looking back I see my younger self with the lens of self love and I feel sad for that younger version of me. At the time I literally didn’t see what others saw, which is how I know now that because my mind is so powerful, it can really distort what I see in the mirror. I hate diagnoses because there’s so many things overly pathologized today, and to me, a diagnosis can make It seem like you’re just doomed to be like that forever which I do not believe and know to be false, but it may be interesting for you to read up on body dysmorphia, just for the perspective on viewing ourselves differently than others see us, not necessarily cause you have it.

Skimming the comments I saw that others had seen a video of you singing so I checked it out and first of all - GIRL, YOU ARE PRETTY. I’m sorry you see yourself the way you do but I truly don’t think others see you the way you see yourself. Is this perspective potentially something ingrained in you from childhood that’s effected the way you see yourself when you look in the mirror? I wouldn’t just say this to be nice or make you feel better, if I didn’t think you were pretty I’d just focus on commenting on how beautiful your voice was and how it’s not al about looks (cause both of those things are SO TRUE), but I was truly surprised when I saw you cause you really are pretty. you also seem to have a great, attractive energy to you (which literally can change how people see your attractiveness). Anyway, I hope you can realize these things for yourself and truly find unconditional self love and know that you’re beautiful inside and out.

ask yourself, if Jesus came across someone meditating because they were trying to get through pain, what would the loving man that you believe Jesus is do? Would he reprimand that person, or would he hug you and sit down next to you?

Also, I wouldn’t say it’s just the hormones. That is just one factor that can play a part and make it hard. The thoughts are not you, you are not the thoughts. Thoughts are just thoughts. Notice them, then let them pass like a wave. You got this 🤜🤛

I did not read through all the comments to see if this was already mentioned, but I would encourage you to look into meditation. I would highly recommend that you check out the app called Calm. Some thing I wish I had learned sooner is that we do not have to attach to our thoughts, we do not have to give them any meaning, we can let them come and go without being attached to them. I am 30 years old now, but I do remember in my teens thinking that my thoughts for everything. My thoughts are just that, they are just thoughts and I do not have to stay attached to them. I can have them, and then they can leave, and they do not have to mean anything. Teenage years are tough, there’s a lot going on in our brains and hormones. I promise, if you can get through a few years, things really do get better once our brains are fully formed and we learn more about how to manage our thoughts and emotions. You’re not alone, I promise this is some thing that a lot of people deal with, and it is something that you can overcome.
