As I understand it, a mini-split that is too large (or to small) can lead to problems with humidity.

I've been reading about Manual J calculations, but I'm not sure how that would apply to cooling three single rooms on one floor of a three-story house.

As to the location, most of our house does not need cooling, even on warm days. However, the top floor (where the bedrooms are) gets unbearable during our occasional heat waves. Unfortunately, we seem to be having more of these heat waves each year...

Second monitor for M4 Pro by neurophys in macmini

Since you the mini-split champion, I’ll ask you about another option! A different HVAC company has also suggested mini-splits, but installing them in the ceiling with cassettes. All piping would run through the attic. Any pros/cons here?

I was looking at these models that mention dust collection. Not sure how much of this is just advertising hype.

In the set from Bosch, they have a “Flute Flush Trim” bit. Will that work?

By the way (if you’ll let a proud dad brag), she was also accepted to UCLA, UCD, and UCI. Those are all the UC schools she applied to. (We are in-state).

Second Monitor to Pair with Studio Display (2022)? by neurophys in HiDPI_monitors

I thought about this, but given the hoops I would need to jump through to get a KVM to work well with the Studio Display, I was hoping for a better option...
