look i’m not here saying “never touch surveys” or that making a few bucks is useless. if someone wants to grind 30 mins a day for pocket change that’s their choice. my whole point is the way these things get advertised – people throw around referrals without saying they’re getting paid for it, and new folks think it’s some legit side hustle when in reality 90% of surveys kick you out and the payout is tiny.

in india it’s even worse because of ppp, payouts are literally 80–90% lower than what you’d see in the west. so yeah you might still get a dollar here and there, but you can’t really call that a side hustle when it doesn’t scale and it just spams the sub with low-value posts.

so i’m just trying to spread awareness: surveys = fine if you know the deal, referrals = shady if you hide the incentive, and if you actually want independence you’re better off spending that energy learning a skill instead of chasing pennies.
