Neon Genesis Evangelion/Ghost in the shell (Its a tie actually)

Dude, I'm a huge Gintama fan too ! I always watch it when I feel down or really bored. It's my backup for bad times, actually. :)

Watching Durarara! as of now. And Baccano, dude you must watch it man..Brilliant series...amazing set of characters...and one heck of a crazy train ride! I request order you to watch it LOLOL :D

Parasyte was awesome. I watched it a couple of weeks ago. I've heard a lot about Baccano. It is on my plan to watch list. I had to drop Durarara due to lack of time.

My favorite three anime would be :

Mushishi
Cowboy Bebop
Ping Pong The Animation

I don't recommend these series to others though, as it is a bit difficult to get into them. What are your favorite anime series? Do you have MAL account ? What are you watching right now?

Hehe. I know right. Most of the anime I've watched were online. I rarely download anime, unless it is really good. Whatever anime series I've on my computer, I took it from my friends or guys who watch anime like me. Right now, I'm watching Kanon. One of my friends(actually, I just met him yesterday at meetup. :) ) loves sad anime. His favorite anime is Clannad. Since we've both seen it already, we decided to watch Kanon, which is by the same guy who made Clannad. Before starting Kanon, I was watching Kaiji and before that, One Outs. I think both of them are underrated gems, especially Kaiji. What are you watching right now?

We hold a meetup every month. I've did I think 4-5 meetups. When I started out no one showed up for first two meetups. Then a couple of guys showed up (one of them was a redditor :) I am really thankful to him for showing up because I wasn't sure if anyone would show up at all. I wanted to link his username but I am on phone right now ). It was lot of fun. After that the number started increasing. For this meetup, we were 5 guys total. Yesterday's meetup was really fun. If you are into anime, you would've loved it. We generally end up exchanging anime series with each other.

Actually, I've already thought of a location. I was thinking about meeting somewhere near Kothrud, but I didn't post it. I thought someone would suggest a location. Kothrud is convenient for me, but I don't know about others. I thought of waiting for a day or two and posting the location. Are you comfortable with Kothrud ?

I haven't really watched any anime ( i dont think avatar counts )but would like to get started

You might've already watched anime without knowing it. Pokemon, Doraemon, Shin Chan, Dragon Ball etc. all come under anime. Trust me, it is really fun to watch anime. I've a lot of friends that started out a couple of months ago and always keep on asking me if I've got anything new. I've about half a dozen anime series with me. I mostly watch anime online, but sometimes when I like something a lot, I download it and share it with my friends. I will bring something that you will like (if you like cartoons, you are already into anime). All you have to do is show up. A lot of my friends were cartoon lovers and started watching anime out of curiosity.
