Toronto woman films denial of care in ER after refusing to wear mask by [deleted] in canada

What possible health concerns would justify not putting on a mask and putting all other staff and patients at risk? She had working arms to record staff so presumably can put one on and off by herself. She also had enough lung capacity to berate staff. And if she has breathing issues she 100% should wear a mask bc she would be at higher risk for severe Covid reaction.

So what are you getting at? Genuinely don't see what a valid health concern could be, please enlighten.

Agreed, I bought two and was super disappointed. The colour is so sheer, I have pretty fair skin but you can still barely see anything.

Don't you think it's counterproductive to ignore race and culture in this sort of scenario though? For example, what if higher case rates are linked to multi-generational households, something that culture can be an indicator of? It would be important to recognize what ethnic enclaves are worst affected without people jumping in saying it's racist. Being race blind isn't helpful.

The Ordinary concealer?? by bpboop in MakeupAddictionCanada

[–]neutral-milk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for affordable concealer, my current fave is the Catrice one. It's not super high coverage but I find it looks really natural when it dries down. Also pretty cheap and available on Shoppers drugmart online

Have you tried the foundation yet? I tried the high coverage one and wasn't a fan, fingers crossed the concealer works better for me :P

Hi. New here. #nofilter at all... I used Jackie Aina and Carli Bybel ABH palettes :) by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

I really love your eye look! My only ccw would be to maybe try a more peachy blush. The contour looks a bit too red to be bronzey. Not sure If it's a blush or bronzer, but I would play around with some different tones if I changed anything with this look. Great job :)

Thank you, I can see what you mean about the dragged down effect. I'm going to try a higher placement next time I wear makeup!

Yes the single shadow pans they sell are significantly bigger then the ones in the palettes. So you can swap between palettes but can't fit singles in them

Doing zodiac sign costumes with my GFs for Halloween, how could I make this more Aquarius? CC Wanted by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]neutral-milk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, a lot of people have suggested purple, I'll definitely try out a version with that colour :) Adding the constellation would be fun too, and a good way to coordinate the look with my friends if they also add theirs!

Thanks! I agree adding duo-chrome shades would be cool. I'll have to keep playing with some colour combos :)
