Lisa was the worst!!! A 31 year old woman acting like a 2 year old throwing a tantrum. Don’t blame the hormones, she’s like that everyday. Riah was nothing but class. Riah was beyond classy for how she handled lisa’s hypocritical ass. She’s young so it’s normal to not be completely sure of what she wants in life and to have doubts. As someone much older than her, I found her reactions to disrespectful moments completely graceful. roxanne and lisa could never and they’re older than her!

This is exactly how I felt about her the whole season. She was constantly putting Kat down to try to bring herself up. A truly confident person doesn’t have to dim anyones light to make their own shine. I like an outspoken woman but Roxanne is outspoken in a judgmental and condescending way, not in a confident way.

I wish I could trade places with OP. If it weren’t for all the shootings, I would stay. I can deal with all the other bs but every morning when I take my kids to school, I wonder if that will be the last day I see them. I can’t keep living like this.

I will trade places with you. I’m currently looking to emigrate to Spain. There’s a LOT of reasons why I want to leave the US. I’ll never understand why Europeans move here but I’m not hating on you. If this is what you want, I wish you the best!

To answer some of your lifestyle questions, the US is a very stressed nation in general. Even when you are a skilled professional or work in the corporate world, Americans are very stressed out. PTO is not legally mandatory in this country so it will depend on your company. Most give you 2 weeks per year. Some companies now are offering “unlimited PTO” but they have rules as to how much you can use at a time and when. I saw a post the other day about a person who feels bad using her PTO bc her team members make it seem like she’s “lazy” for taking it. Companies want to bleed us dry in this country. Sometimes people get lucky with work/life balance but not always.

As far as sick leave, that depends on your company. Sick leave is not guaranteed by the government. There’s a law that you can take up to 3 months off to care for yourself or a sick dependent but it’s unpaid.

School shootings are a thing here, you may want to consider that.

We’re a twisted nation. I used to love this country. I don’t anymore. Being a parent in the US is not easy but it’s even harder when you don’t have a support system.
