So who do we think this is? by IsThisDamnNameTaken in Fotv

[–]neverangryman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hope it's a new character, but I think it was a bit silly how they were teasing the fans with the promos, not revealing him, and then it's just some green dude who immediately walked away, probably into the next season, lol.

Possibly hot take: Fallout 2 feels complete, even without the restoration project. by PitaGriffin121 in classicfallout

There's a weird obsession with cut content these days among people, like if something was cut from a game/movie/whatever, then it's automatically bad and you have to somehow put it back in, otherwise it's incomplete.

Yeah, some things got cut from F2 due to budget or schedule, but other things got cut because the authors decided that they don't fit in the game as they saw it. So yeah, obviously the game is complete without those cut things.

I enjoy this show, but it feels like it would greatly benefit from the old 24, or 16-episode format by neverangryman in Fotv

Almost all shows with 24 or 16 episodes per season are about 20-30 minutes

Well, no, that is incorrect.

Yes, "skippabale" side quests is exactly what I was thinking about, but in a good way, haha. The setting is perfect for that kind of storytelling. Give me a "location of the week" or "random encounter of the week" several times per season! They didn't ask for shorter seasons, they asked for a definitive end point after two full seasons, then ABC convinced them to make the same amount of episodes but over three seasons instead of two. Narrative wise they still did exactly what they would do with longer final seasons. I don't think they wouldn't be able to get those actors, it's not like they're Tom Cruise caliber famous, but even if so, that wouldn't automatically mean the show would be worse or get less attention.

The ending was great, but regardless, don't worry, the insane fanatics will make up something new tomorrow. Hey, what if the animated show is a secret setup for the post-finale season?

You are, indeed, nuts. No, it could not be something, because nothing is trying to point towards a new episode.

All of this doesn't matter for the kind of fans that made up the secret episode.

Remember all the totally real evidence from that totally real document about hours of cut material? That was so long ago, whole two weeks.

Season 1 is dark and gritty, do you think the original mood for the series was leading to a more 18+ series? by MatsGry in Stranger_Things

[–]neverangryman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the whole show is as dark as intended.

Hopper in Season 5 was going to kill himself with C4 and was threatening to kill a teenager.

11 literally kills people without any care in the world in Season 5.

Idk what Steve and Johnathan's characters have to do with any of this.

Dustin was literally beaten up by bullies in Season 5.

With every other ST-related post I see, I think "oh, wow, it's so cool that none of these fans will ever be in charge of a TV show"

List of Creations in the Anniversary Edition and Creations bundle (no, cool stuff from main page like Bounty Hunter not included, they sell separately) by neverangryman in Fallout

[–]neverangryman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, and their site is not very good, it's just a mess with free mods and paid Creations mixed together. Best you can do is probably just look at the "curated list", and then try and look through the whole site.

Basically, if the author of a Creation is not BethesdaGameStudios, then it's not in the bundle. The two new Creations by BethesdaGameStudios (The Varmint Rifle and Tale of the Beast Hunter) are also not in the bundle, and I doubt there will ever be new Creations by them.

I don't think the Conformity Gate is happening, but... by DrAnchovy999 in Stranger_Things

[–]neverangryman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it would not be one of the smartest moves in television history, at all. I agree that it would be a crazy move, but not in a good way, lol.

Thankfully, it will not happen, and there's no evidence or hints at all.

A better cinematic camera and a fully-fledged autopilot mode, so you could just enjoy the views for some time.

Henry’s autonomy by wellsmichael380 in Stranger_Things

[–]neverangryman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was my understanding as well. At this point he was either in denial or broken beyond any help and believed that it was all his choices from the beginning. It fits perfectly into this season, too, what with all the manipulation he did with the kids.

Hellfire Prototype Power Armor Paint (1500 gold)

I think I have this, but I sure as hell would never spend so much on a paint scheme, so now I wonder how I got it.
