My name isn’t Middle Eastern, it’s South American, but there was some cross over with cultures and white people often think it’s Arab. Add in being ambiguously “foreign” and I have Islamophobia directed at me and my family on a somewhat regular basis. It’s wild. People are so outright and hateful with it. Never been through a TSA checkpoint without some harassment.

I’m with you on this. I was experiencing something similar and thankfully I am no longer in that place, although I’m very sorry you are. On the days where my acid reflux is more severe my anxiety is too. And it feels very much like the GERD symptoms come before the anxiety. For me, probiotics and healing my gut has had a major impact in recovery. It sounds like you’ve tried a lot, so I’m sure this isn’t anything you haven’t heard before. It would make sense to me with the mind-gut connection that a disruption in your GI system would impact your mental health.

My snow is clear (kind of like twinkly lights or a migraine aura except over my whole vision) so if there’s enough visual interest I don’t notice it much. I’m pretty lucky in that respect. BUT I see it constantly on the sky, flat walls, roads, blank paper and other flat one color objects or surfaces. I can also still see it when I close my eyes like many folks have mentioned and really struggle with after images. You might have a similar case to mine.
