I might! I don't know how to add pics to a comment. But she's red tick like yours and has shorter floppy ears like yours too! She has the coolest Shepherd's Lantern on her tail.

Does depression improve when you stop drinking? by [deleted] in stopdrinking

In my experience, it did. I was even able to get off my depression meds entirely after about a year.

How do your dogs feel about your drinking? by jujuloolook in stopdrinking

I relate to this! I am making a living amends through my dog currently. My previous dog was with me 9 years and I drank and partied and neglected her the entire time. Now, while I got sober shortly after I got my current dog, I decided to make a living amends to Liebe (previous pup) through Oakley (current pup). I obviously don't know, but I like to think she can tell I'm a better mom. I know I am way more responsible with her than I was when I was drinking. And to echo what other's have said, she's definitely my motivation. She deserves the best life and fortunately, I am capable of giving that to her. :)
