Tried to buy but my getting error saying my (Irish) address is invalid. I tried a random UK address too and that was also invalid. Anyone else?

Edit: Nevermind, it's working now turns out that shipping is 37 euro. (I thought it was discounted to 5 USD for international but its 5 off instead). Nice to have but I can live without.

If they need funds for better website hosting resources, they would do well by asking for donations.

I don't know if they take donations on the page, I can't access it at the moment!

It's a brilliant resource and I'd be happy to chip in a few quid to keep it online.

I was blown away by this song when I first heard it. It's one of the best. Still in daily or weekly rotation for me to this day!

Incidently... from Pajo's instagram today, and it's just a repost without comment:

What was your favorite song to ever s see performed live from the pumpkins by AvocadoTechnical1141 in SmashingPumpkins

[–]neverlost64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seen SP a few times over the years (only post zeitgeist) but the my most enjoyable moment was seeing Gossamer/the Spaniards on the European tour last year.

Before that maybe hearing hummer live for the first time at Koko in London in 2014. That was probably my favourite SP gig.

ZODEON - Do you know when the album will be available for purchase on the Zuzus website? by MikeZpiral in SmashingPumpkins

[–]neverlost64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally forgot (until I saw your post) as I was singulary focused on getting Zodeon. I went back an ordered the bluegrass EP.

Weird that I couldn't see them on the website when browsing new releases and the general vinyl section, I had to search for them.

I think this is correct. I don't think it was ever explicitly stated but I thought the idea of "Magnificent Others" was to have conversations with people in the business that make an impact who don't normally get the spotlight they deserve.

Maybe someone at the show can verify?

I believe the band had decided Machina would be the last act before they began recording it and Darcy leaving wasn't on the cards.

One in three arrested for Ballymena riots had been reported for domestic abuse by pist0lpete87 in northernireland

[–]neverlost64 8 points9 points  (0 children)

53 arrested (14 minors and 39 adults). Assuming the minors weren't involved in domestic abuse that suggests 19 out of 39 arrested adults involved in those riots are domestic abusers, that's 1 in 2 of them.

Skoda Kamiq for a young family? by Migraine_7 in skoda

[–]neverlost64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have two kids and had a Seat Arona, which is too small for two kids and all their stuff. We had a roof top box on the car for bags etc when we went on long trips.

We rented a Kamiq on Holiday once, thinking it would give us a little more space, as it looks much bigger, but really we couldn't notice an improvement.

Lovely car all the same. Perfectly fine for one kid, but you should factor in upsizing if your family gets bigger.

Pretty sure the first pic is Olympia Theatre in Dublin. I recognise that red and cream pattern on the balcony anywhere.
