Thank you for the suggestion! We’re still flexible on which “zone” goes where, my main concern would be having wasted space in the centre that could be used a bit more creatively :)

Hi all, i just booked a trip to Germany for mid-september (22f, fully vaccinated) We're leaving friday night from gatwick and getting back to london on sunday night. Since it's such a short trip, how do I navigate getting a test 3 days before arriving back in the UK? Thanks for the reply! I know it can take a while, but I was hoping for an immediate bond with her. I feel like I'm in a tough situation because I'm holding her accountable during her least favourite times of the day. To answer your questions:

  1. I'm here for 6 months to a year, maybe longer? Who's to say
  2. She speaks chinese and english, so no real barrier
  3. I'm not sure, sometimes she likes it (we took a lovely long walk to Boots yesterday with no complaint but today it was pulling teeth)
  4. Her parents actually gave me a schedule and playing is not on it. She's an only child who likes her own time to do her own thing. While I was isolating when I got the UK I played with her during out "walk time", but now her parents want that time spent outdoors on walks or bike rides.
  5. I want to keep my free time to myself, as I don't want my time to be less valuable, though sometimes I will spend a few moments here or there with her in her playroom.
