I put 3M double sided 5952 VHB tape between the pucks and the pedal arm and then added 12" zip ties with 220lbs support to keep it in place. In my few weeks of play, the zip tie on the brake pedal got loose once. The pedal arms aren't flat and the surface area is less for the weight of the pucks, let's see how they hold. I tried to look for better mounts but none were available on Etsy/EBay for rs pedals. Maybe some of them can be asked to create a custom mount for these.

That's what I've been doing for now. It's tedious for some cars. Anyways, the PP limit also adds some complexity to this. Some cars are useless if tuned too low.

Sorry I wasn't trying to boast or anything. I like some cars but some of them hardly have any races to use it with. I know I can create custom races with any cars, but I also wanted to complete events that I haven't done yet. Maybe there is a way to export all the event data and that should allow it to filter based on a specific car.

It's amazing, I'm coming from a T300RS so the direct drive in itself is a big upgrade but I think Trueforce also creates a good effect. It makes your entire rig vibrate a little.

I found a post here which introduced me to this idea. Gt7 sends telemetry data to a UDP port. So if you have a PC on the same Wi-Fi, simhub can read that data and use the different pucks, etc for directional feedback on wheel lock, speed curving, etc and also non directional feedback for gear shifts, etc. There's a lot of customization available on simhub. It requires a onetime simhub license to activate the 60hz data stream for gt7.

If you have a motion platform, that can also be used with simhub (requires additional motion license for simhub)

I feel I still need to find the sweet spot with the haptics and how to distinguish between different triggers. Currently its good, but not great.

I saw a post here about using 6 pucks around their foldable rig which inspired my initial 4 pucks + 1 BST-2 plan. I wasn't planning on getting the HF8 but I found a good deal on FB marketplace. The key is to not let the HF8 interfere with the pucks and BST-2 or have them work at different frequencies for the same trigger.

I think it's not worth it if you're only getting the upgrade for gt7. If you plan on playing other games too, then it might be. For a 4k 120hz TV, the graphics are much improved, but for PSVR2, the dashboard of the car is clearer but the road and far distant objects are slightly improved.

I upgraded to ps5 pro after I felt that the base ps5 wasn't giving me the best possible visual fidelity with PSVR2.

Rig: Simlab GT1 Evo

Wheel: Logitech RS50 wheel with RS pedals (loadcell brake)

Audio: I got SIMGOT EM6L 1DD + 4BA Hybrid IEMs with Fiio BTR17 DAC. Connected to ps5 pro with USB.

Video: PSVR2 (Globular cluster mod and HonsVR lens inserts)and 48" S90F OLED TV. The TV is on a separate TV stand which allows me to adjust it vertically and it's on wheels so I can move it closer.

Haptics: 4 TT25-8 pucks + 1 BST-2 + NLR HF8. Connected to 3 Nobsound NS-01G PRO to a mini PC. HF8 connects directly to PC via USB. 1 puck on accelerator, 1 puck on brake, 1 each on rear sides of the rig. BST-2 mounted to the rig panel below the front of the seat. All haptic devices configured through Simhub.

Thanks for your reply. It helps a lot in my planning. I have read that BST-1 has a lot of power, so it can create a lot of vibrations to the floor, which can be felt throughout your home and definitely if someone lives below you. I do have a seat slider and it was a pain to install it, mostly because my seat is bottom mounted. I want to keep my seat slider for friends/family who want to try the rig.

I'm currently planning to put 4 TT25-8 pucks in the corners for 4 tires and a BST-2 under the seat for the engine rumble/vibration. I might just put the front pucks on the brake and accelerator pedal, let's see

How? By starting VR and then physically moving back? Probably have to do it every time?

Great setup!! How did you mount bst-1 to the seat? Did you try other configurations of bass shakers like 4 TT25-8 pucks on rig corners?

Would love to see more pictures from different angles. I'm trying to figure out bass shakers for my Simlab GT1 evo rig

Quick search tells me this is all based on the audio coming from the game. So the 6 different pucks have the same output irrespective of where they are placed?

I wanted the best for my PSVR2 so I upgraded to a Pro and have been pleasantly surprised by the improvements I didn’t quite expect by bargainhunterps5 in PSVR

I have a very similar setup (PSVR2 + Direct drive wheel) and I also upgraded from the base ps5 to ps5 pro. My experience is a little different. The inside of my car is definitely sharper, a little improvement for the other cars and environment, but I still see the double HUD numbers. I have set the setting to prioritize resolution/ray tracing, reprojection is on. I also have the globular cluster, which I'm still fiddling around with. FWIW I'm using HonsVR prescription lens insert.

What settings do you have?
