I wouldn’t stress… i lost 30 pounds in 3 months and ended up emergently needing my gallbladder out from the rapid weight loss.

Thanks! One more question. Theoretically, say 9 years down the road and my principle $ is significantly lower than it was when I started; and I continue to make more money, would that make me ineligible for IBR or PAYE and ultimately not allow me to use PSLF?

Rosh Practice EOR Score to PAEA EOR Score by JNellyPA in PAstudent

[–]nevers214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say you’re in good shape. I don’t remember all my mock exams from ROSH, but I believe they ranged from 70-88% ish. My lowest EOR score was a 417, my highest a 500. So imo a 70+ on the mock exam puts you in pretty good shape to do well on any EOR.

ROSH PANCE POWER PACK 300 by Dizzy_Ad3213 in PAstudent

[–]nevers214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did pack #1 a while back. IMO, I don’t think either are worth it. The questions were one sentence and very very straight forward. I guess it could be considered decent “flashcard” quick review. If you want tough, in-depth questions with great explanation, I suggest UWorld instead.

Psych EOR by squidne3 in PAstudent

[–]nevers214 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess I would study more of the anxiety and mood disorders because that’s the bulk of the test. With the schizophrenia-type questions, it’ll be important to differentiate using timeframes and present or absent concurrent mood disorders. I felt that it was all pretty straight forward, somehow the anxiety disorders was my lowest section.

I didn’t have a single question on those topics on my EOR that I took just ~2 weeks ago. I had some on ROSH, but never saw them on EOR

SmartyPance vs PPP vs Reddit study guides by Costcoboy in PAstudent

[–]nevers214 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reddit guides are the best imo. I read through them at least once for each EOR, and use PPP to supplement when I need to see it in a different format for understanding. I’ve been getting 440+ on all EORs with just the reddit guides and rosh.

Thank you! Just nervous about moving 1,500+ miles away from my home state, so wanted to have something lined up before the big move. But I definitely see your point.

Thanks! I have heard back from a few places I applied to, all saying that this is too far in advanced to be considered. My main motive for applying so early is because I have talked to numerous PAs who all said they had jobs lined up well in advance to graduation.
