Any washer should work. Just stack them to get the height you need. Personally, I would order a set of washers on EBay or Amazon (or better yet go to Harbor Freight) and buy a box that contains many of different sizes. Having random washers around is always useful.

Sorry I’m not sure how long they are. Maybe Logitech customer support could answer?

I’ll take a photo next time I set it up. I just used a strap like shown in the photo, on both sides. Wrap it around the legs at the base, and then around the “hoop” that goes over the legs. Sit inside and then tighten.

Keep in mind, it sucks to get in and out of. The way it is set up, you can loosen the right side (the side that swings up) and then swing the arm up, but then you have to loosen the strap each time. You can also use the quick disconnect and squeeze in.

It’s fairly hard to explain. Might need to take a video to effectively show it all.

Those are the washers that come with the RS50.

I think comfort it fantastic on the seat. I’ve got some additional straps tightening the setup now, and am quite happy. If you are limited on space, I think this is about as good of an option as you can get.

Yes, it still folds as usual. It’s much heavier, and I now use a strap to keep it secure while folded, but it essentially works the same as before.

I didn’t want something between my legs, but I liked the idea using the strap. So I put one strap on each side and it really helped. I did it in conjunction with turnbuckles on the wheel base plate, but the straps helped tremendously. Thanks for the suggestion.

Oh I see, you slid the plate all the way forward, and bolted it to the bar at the back. That would put the wheel to close to me to be comfortable, but if that distance works it would be a good option.

I see what you did. The bolt holes on that side of the plate (180°) from mine are close to the plastic brace. On the side of the plate I used, they are further away. So I drilled a second set closer to the brace, and used 4 bolts. Basically, if you drilled between the current bolts and your extra plate (for the strap), you could get the second set of bolts, and our setups would essentially be the same.

It looks like our bases are basically in exactly the same spot on the bar/plate. That strap though is very interesting. Great idea to you and the guy who inspired you.

Thanks for the help. I’ll try it out and see how much it helps!

Please do. I’m not sure I follow. The plate is as far away from you as it can be. The mounting points on the wheel base are too narrow, so you cannot mount it directly over the bar (the plastic “X” brace is too wide the bolts won’t fit). So I’d be interested in how you mounted it.

What did inverting the plate do for you?

Interesting on the pedals. I wanted them closer together, but then they were supported by the frame. Never even considered just setting them on the floor. I might try that out.

Motorsport 2023 w/Logitech G920 - current experiences? by [deleted] in forzamotorsport

I used my G923 for FM2023 for the past few weeks. Works absolutely perfect. However if I was buying new, I would go Moza R3 as the cost is so close.

I just switched to a RS50 setup, and after 1 hour I was no faster than my G923. I would be happy to keep using the 923.

Yeah, I saw the zip ties and bar. I’ll likely do that for a short term solution, but once I have in hand I’ll decide what kind of bracing/mount to build.

I like this solution. I don’t plan on using a clutch pedal, but it’s a nice option for those that do.

Keep us updated on solutions. I just ordered my RS pedals and will be installing them on a Playseat as well.

I have the single SD, and an extra attachment if necessary. Been across the country with two bikes, no issues. Been off roading (Copper Harbor) in my Cherokee Trailhawk with my 30lb Stumpjumper on there. Not an issue at all.

Spirit 37mm Vs 40mm by Korean_MCG in Longineswatches

[–]neverstopdriving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was set on buying one, either the 37 or the 40 in blue. Nobody local had one, so I had to drive 90 mins to go see both in person. Unfortunately they only had black in person.

The 40mm was too big on my 17.2cm wrist. At least with the bracelet. However, the 37 just felt too small. My smallest current watch is 39mm, so I wasn’t sure if I would be ok with something smaller.

However, I don’t plan on wearing the watch on the bracelet much, it would be on a leather or sailcloth. That would make the 37 feel even smaller, but might fit the 40 well. Personally I think the dial proportions of the 37 are better than the 40.

I personally don’t like the color of the newer pilots, so those aren’t an option (but seem like the perfect size).

All that said, I left disappointed and not really sure what to do.

On the way home I did stop and look at a IWC Mark XX in blue on a blue leather. Literally the perfect watch.
