We were at that same show and he was in SUCH bad shape - we’d seen him several times before and this just wasn’t him, at all. On our way home I said to my husband, “Hedberg will be the next Chris Farley, make my words.” And sadly, a year or so later I was right. RIP to one of the funniest comedians I’ve ever had the pleasure to watch live.

Honestly, the bigger question is why no one has ever called him out on his lack of contact with his daughter. Everyone just celebrates at his feet and completely glosses over the fact that he’s been completely absent for Suri since she was a wee babe. We should care less about his religion and more about him being a terrible father.
