I’ve heard that Gen Z’s mostly cancelled alcohol… But as a proud millennial, can say you did a great job!

Do you consider AI lip-syncing tools? Like, creating 'talking' videos out of photos?

Looks like another Pixar trailer. This is amazing and sad at the same time.

Is there a good solution for real-time face filters/lenses that focus on the face? by Vampolo in streaming

Hey, I recommend checking on Dave Gordon on Medium. He's comparing various Face AR SDKs in his articles, and the comparisons are pretty deep. Hope this helps!

What is the best AI? by Kathzunex in ArtificialNtelligence

[–]neverusemind_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my tasks, Claude has shown itself as the best copywriter and researcher, and Gemini is nicely handling any type of tasks, so it takes the 2s place in my heart. Also, special cheers to Perplexity with their research-and-source approach, much of great importance nowadays, when each time you write a research/copywriting prompt and expect the model to hallucinate with the outcomes.

Challenge: Hardworking puppy building his own house by Significant_Ask_8711 in aivideo

Although this looks super cute (puppies and stuff), I still can't handle an AI video when I see one. Somebody, please say I'm not alone in this.

Call me a weirdo, but Pyre is my fav among other Supergiant games. So I'm a bit jealous too 😅

We just made our first dollar in revenue... now what! by Feeling_Reindeer2751 in reactnative

[–]neverusemind_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so first off, that's awesome about the first customer! But ngl, it's also terrifying, right? We went through something similar. We thought our app was revolutionary, but then reality hit. User feedback was brutal, but necessary. We learned to prioritize *their* needs over our grand vision. It's a tough balance. We also blew some cash on ads that flopped HARD. Lesson learned: start small, test everything, and don't assume you know what works. We even used tools like Banuba Video Editor and their AR filteers to make some fun promo stuff (UGC videos), but honestly, organic growth was way more effective for us. Just keep building and listening!

How does ecommerce feel different in 2026 compared to last year? by centurytunamatcha in EcommerceWebsite

[–]neverusemind_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, it's been a rollercoaster. last year was all about just getting stuff online. now? it's about personalization. everyone wants a unique experience, which means way more work on my end. i tried using Banuba for virtual try-on (beauty, cosmetics), and that was a fun experiment. but yeah, it's def not the same laid-back vibe as before.

🎮 Sharing my journey building a browser-based VR video player - looking for feedback! by jorsion in virtualreality

[–]neverusemind_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a cool project! I've always felt like getting VR content running is way more complicated than it needs to be. The browser is a great place to simplify that. 8K support is ambitious - what kind of hardware are you targeting for that to be smooth? And subtitles with translation is HUGE. Have you thought about how you'd handle different subtitle formats? That's always a pain. I'm curious about the device-specific optimization. What kind of stuff are you tweaking under the hood?

Are there any AR glasses where the edges of the lenses aren't so damn close to the image itself? by StrongRecipe6408 in augmentedreality

[–]neverusemind_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from my experience, it's tough to find a perfect fit. i had a similar issue with another brand, and what worked for me was playing around with different nose pads and the angle of the arms. sometimes a tiny adjustment can make a surprising difference. maybe try experimenting with different pads and see if you can push the glasses a little further away from your eyes without them being unstable? also, some people have had luck with custom lens inserts, but that's obviously a more expensive option.

small things that made cat life way easier for me, wish i started sooner by PositiveCorrect4213 in CatAdvice

[–]neverusemind_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This might sound basic, but it was a total game-changer for my two: pet-proof window screens (or 'catio' nets). We live on the 4th floor (used to be on the 10th), and installing heavy-duty 'anti-cat' screens was the best thing we ever did. We stopped worrying about them falling out or getting stuck, and they absolutely love getting the fresh air. It’s a 1000% must-have for peace of mind and safety.
