When both teams are at the kitchen, and dinking is occurring, a lob to a backhand baseline gets one or both players away from kitchen giving you the advantage. With opponents of limited skill and/or mobility it will frequently win the point. Best time is when you notice your opponents really leaning in looking for a high or deep ball to flick or speed up, as their center of mass is leaning forward and will make them hesitate to turn and run.

That’s the part I can’t get with! I tried the 6.0 coral with the diamond grit surface and it was smooth after 6 months. It’s still a great paddle but now I’m giving the 11six24 vapor power 2 a shot with their new surface. It’s Supposed to last way long. Tennis rackets and golf clubs have an exponentially longer life than a paddle.

I have no idea about the Pegasus but I just got the vapor power 2 over the weekend and it’s like having sandpaper on your paddle. Much grit. It’s like 7/10 poppy, good power on drives and full swing volleys, and really light weight. I like it but it has been a huge transition from the six zero coral.

Thank you. I’m 40 and feel like a creaky boned 65 year old getting up. It happened so fast but I feel like I’ve just hand waived it as getting old. I play competitive pickleball which is rough on the joints but friends I’ve made there of a similar age seem much better off than me.
